Well i sold the last lot before kijji instituted a ban. Of course I kept a few 100 rolls or so for family and friends. Made enough to profit keep my staff on. No EI for them, they get to stay at home for a few weeks with pay.

Their health care system is overwhelmed, and so people are not getting the care that they need. I've read that critical cases requiring ventilation in the ICU already had only a 50% survival rate.. now, if there are no ventilators available.. that probably drops to 0%.

South Korea is doing better because they've done a lot of testing, isolating people before it spreads.. and it's far more common in Asia to wear masks, further limiting spread.
Meanwhile, our government is advising against wearing masks, despite the fact that there is overwhelming evidence that the virus can be spread while people are asymptomatic.

Masks make virtually no difference. Spreading it by hand and touching faces is the biggest cause for concern. The problem is that those wearing masks are constantly touching their faces to adjust their masks. Canada's testing is ten to hundred times that of USA. So for some reason there is a false prerogative that "Canada is not doing enough". These same doomsday soothsayers are yet praising the manner in which out neighbour down South is handling the issue there!!

This toilet paper frenzy first started in Hong Kong when they closed the borders with China. Social media stated possible shortages of items including toilet paper. That lead to the mass buying of toilet paper and carried over to every other country, including here. Why are people buying cases of water? Tap water is safe to drink. Are people thinking the staff at the water treatment plant will get the bug and no one will run the plant?

According to the latest the average age of the dead is 81 in Italy. The Wuhan Virus does not appear to affect children and the younger, healthy population. Will be fine.
