Schiff exposed his own lie during Vindman testimony

During Rep. Jordan's questioning of Vindman, he asked the witness to identify those he had spoken to after listening in on the Trump-Zelensky call. Schiff intervened, stating that Jordan would not be allowed to ask questions directed to identifying the whistle blower. Only problem is, Jordan didn't ask Vindman if he ever spoke to the whistle blower, or even whether Vindman knew who it was. So why did Schiff intervene? The only reasonable explanation is that Schiff knows who the whistle blower is, and knows he/she is the unidentified other person Vindman spoke with. That makes Schiff's claim that he doesn't know who the whistle blower is a lie!

But that Jordan nutcase will do anything to try and now claim that Schiff "knows" the identity of the Whistleblower, as contrary to it, that was only a generalized statement by Schiff that the whistleblower's identity has to be kept secret. But we all know that the Whistleblower was not present at the actual Trump phone call, but was disturbed to hear the full context of it and that is why he disclosed. Also, Vindman did swear under testimony that he did not know who the whistleblower is. But if Vindman disclosed the name of this individual that was present at that particular occasion, then that may have narrowed the field of who would be the whistleblower. This particular individual may have of may have not been the whistleblower.

Jordan and the Repugnantlicans do not get this simple fact but only love to make those random allegations. Schiff is handling this very professionally and this is going to blow up in the Repugnantlicans face!!

We have the transcript of the phone call. We have first-hand witnesses that validate the accuracy of the transcript. The rest of it is a show and that's where the problems lie.

If the Dems call witnesses who provide us with nothing more than hearsay and their feelings about the President's Ukrainian policies, it would stand to reason the Republicans should be able to call witnesses that can support their premise that the accusations were based on animus. This would include the whistleblower.

My dad was an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. I grew up around military people. They didn't act anything like this clown did.

The big brouhaha with the whistleblower is a NUTHING BURGER. He has no direct knowledge of what happened. And of course part of the repugs displeasure with the witnesses so far is that (aside from Sondland) they have no direct firsthand knowledge. They are trying to have it both ways. It is quite possible that after Sondland's testimony tomorrow, they will be having it zero ways.

I hope the electorate can see that almost the whole party is disingenuous and cannot be entrusted with controlling the government and the country's future. The more the repugs expose themselves as liars and hypocrites trying vainly to defend trump, there will be more voters seeing it in front of their eyes.
