No, not that I am against vaccines but whenever I get the flu shot I end up getting the flu.. i know i know.. it's only contains dead viruses but does it make my immune system weaker at the beginning and that is why I get the flu?
You are correct. You simply cannot develop a disease from the dead viruses.
Of course, even after . getting vaccinated, you can still suffer from an influenza infection if your body didn't fully develop a satisfactory immune response to that strain, and you get exposed to that (or another) strain in the wild (subway, shaking hands with a friend etc). But the vaccination did not cause or allow the infection to take hold, nor did it "weaken" your immune system.
It's understandable that you feel this way based on your personal experience Mr. Lover.
Are you sure you got influenza and not a "cold" (rhinovirus) or just felt run down? Influenza is a pretty serious sickness and comes with fever, chills and shivers, STRONG headache and it kicks the shit out of you for weeks after the strong symptoms go away. A lot of people say they got the flu, when it is in fact a really bad rhinovirus infection.
