Many people work in those downtown towers.
I still don't know why Lowry gets penalized when the other team knocks him to the floor.
So IMO, basketball is probably the hardest sport to officiate. So what's going is this.....
When a player is trying to defend an offensive player who has the ball, you can't contact him while your moving. Your feet have to be planted. So in Lowry's case, usually what's going is a player is driving to net, and he's trying to get in front of the net first with his feet planted which is why when he gets hit, he gets knocked to the floor because he's trying to show the refs his feet aren't moving. So the issue is, did he get to the open lane first and get his feet planted? or was he late? So that's why the call goes either way. Also, this can't be done in the restricted area which is half circle line around the basket. So if the ref deems Lowry got there first with his feet planted, the offensive player will get the foul and it will be called a "charge" or "charging". If the ref deems Lowry got there late and his feet were still moving, Lowry gets the foul and it will be called "blocking" because your blocking the player from getting to basket. I'll see if I can find a youtube video to explain it in more detail.
