not always sure...
Then gets fucking knee on kneed by the guy that could have ended his season and have career changing implications with no call. Someone on this team needed to fight back and show toughness. I know a crosscheck to the head is a bit extreme, but the knee on knee earlier was just as bad.
Even in super slo-mo that was a good noncall.
The Boston player leaned in with his shoulder and did not have his leg extended.
Any penalty on the play would have been based on Kadri falling down and not the hit. Granted, that happens all the time.

Kadri hurts his team by losing it but I almost can't blame him.

The officiating was awful, there were at least five occasions where Chara could have gotten a holding penalty. That gave the Bruins the confidence to run at the Leafs to their heart's content. Debrusk's knee on knee was intentional, like father like son.

My cousin said the Bruins were goading Kadri on trashing his Muslim heritage. Except that Kadri is not a Muslim, his family are Maronite (Lebanese) Christians.

Most of the ex NHL players who commented on that play thought that there was no deliberate or significant knee on knee contact and agreed with the non call. The fact that Kadri did not miss a shift means that his immediate reaction to the hit was more worthy of a soccer player. I have watched Kadri many times over his career take cheap shots at players then turtle when called out by a player with any toughness. He was lucky earlier this year that Shea Weber did not wipe the ice with him when Kadri took a cheap shot at Weber's knee. Kadri is not tough he is a cheap shot artist and fully deserves whatever suspension he gets for a deliberate cross check to the face. He already has 4 suspensions for high hits and head shots so clearly he is a dirty player.

Kadri's an idiot. If you want to retaliate, break the guy's ankle. At least you can claim that your twohander was an attempt to slash a stick. Now, the shmuck will be suspended 3+ games on already thin team and with nobody in the wings ready to step up into his spot. Stupid.

Kadri is an idiot. He said no one is going to push them around. I get that. That is important, but that doesn't mean you become stupid. When you can't engage your brain to keep the highest goal in mind, which is to win the series, then you become a liability. His inability to use his intensity wisely, and propensity to take stupid penalties out of anger that put team in a bind is a major problem. Now we might have to use Nylander at center, when his softness and lack of intensity is a problem in this series. The hope that our talent at the center position is an advantage is suddenly gone for whatever time he's suspended ...dumbass.

Yes he's muslim. According to wikipedia anyway. Not that his religion should come into it.
No, it should not.
I thought it was common knowledge that Kadri is Muslim.

If your cousin says so then it must be true.

Kadri's going to get 5 games minimum. Others are going to have to step it up tonight. That means you Willy, our new 3rd. line center.

If going just by the dollars you now have a 7 million centerman rather than a 4 million so should be an upgrade but the 2 are polar opposites in intensity and ruggedness

The game tonight is do or die as far as I'm concerned. Does this team have heart and the will to rebound from that game 2 debacle? I'd feel so much better if we had a Wayne Simmonds and Adam McQuaid in our lineup. Dubas missed the boat there.
