I would assume reducing police interactions would be beneficial to black lives.........
And how do you propose that is done when a black doctor, for example, gets accosted has his or her civil rights abused?

How about holding paid public servants accountable for their mistakes? And also making sure the right ones are on the job? Like you know...NOT THE ONE WHOLE KILLED TAMIR RICE FOR EXAMPLE?? Or when a black health care worker sits on the pavement with his hands in the air gets shot? I could go on and on...

I agree that every case of an innocent black person being accosted while doing everyday things is wrong and those who do it unfit for public service. And when neccessary should be criminally charged.

Period. No qualifier.

Now that that's said prison reform would help facilitate that. Start with ending private prisons. Who thrive on using racial bias. And contribute to high sentencing judges campaigns.

Add in that many criminals are just warehoused and not given the tools to succeed on getting out and you increase the revolving door.

It's about improving the overall culture.

Prison reform will stop racism in the states? Seems like you're making the assumption that prison is an issue affecting most black people.
Consider:

* By the age of 14, approximately 25 percent of African American children have experienced a parent — in most cases a father — being imprisoned for some period of time. On any given school day, approximately 10 percent of African American schoolchildren have a parent who is in jail or prison, more than four times the share in 1980.

* The comparable share for white children is 4 percent; an African American child is six times as likely as a white child to have or have had an incarcerated parent.

* A growing share of African Americans have been arrested for drug crimes, yet African Americans are no more likely than whites to sell or use drugs. Of imprisoned fathers of African American children, only one-third are in prison because of a violent crime.

Say what? lol

You're way past delusional.

Token negro vs Ape.

Yeah, far less.
What delusion, exactly, am I suffering from? You must be sharing a dictionary with Beaver and Basket!

I think you meant to say, "I think that Roseanne's insult was worse". Except you forgot to say why.

It’s different because Roseanne is white.

He's right. Roseanne made a joke about a woman's appearance - a woman she thought was White. No big deal. Calling Kanye a token negro on an international "news network" goes much deeper and is way uglier.

Executives that fired her are now regretting the decision: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...d-firing-roseanne-barr-was-knee-jerk-reaction
Roseanne used a racial epithet/slur used regularly to demean and dehumanise black people. And it was NOT the first time she did it. Ever heard of Susan Rice?

Try harder.

If you can't discern between calling a black person a token negro and an ape, then you likely don't know the difference between calling one a coon/uncle tom or the n-word...with the er.

That means 75% don't.

Perhaps the issues of racism in the US go far deeper than prisons.

To this day he still thinks that Heather Heyer is responsible for her own death and James Fields had no responsibility at all in her death!! If you disagree with him, then according to him, we do have a separate "dictionary" from him. Goodness knows what he is on about!!
