The ultimate “conspiracy” is also the most horrible: a Satanic Elite controls all access to power. If you wish to join them, you must be like them—willing to do the worst things imaginable to the most innocent lives possible. They have been operating since the dawn of civilization. The “Christian Era” forced them underground but secretly these druids of depravity rule it all…and this book exposes them for you! • Sex messages hidden in Disney cartoons; Moloch worship in the Redwoods of California; only this book explains it all! • Did you know the “North American Man-Boy Love Association” was co-founded by a pedophile Roman Catholic priest? • The real reason why wars are started and why the Elite fabricate them needlessly out of whole cloth. • Read about the head of MI6 who was a lifelong “paedophile” and traitor. He also helped found NATO and seeded the “Global War on Terror” 30 years prior. • The most infamous serial killers are trained and enabled to do what they did. • Every famous person you’ve ever looked up to has been exposed to this dark secret and either kept it, been a victim of it and / or participated in it.

What do you folks think of this list? No. 1 has me scratching my head, imho John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath and Victor Hugo's Les Miserables are the greatest novels.

affluenza, n. a painful, contagious, socially transmitted condition of overload, debt, anxiety, and waste resulting from the dogged pursuit of more.

We tried to warn you! The 2008 economic collapse proved how resilient and dangerous affluenza can be. Now in its third edition, this book can safely be called prophetic in showing how problems ranging from loneliness, endless working hours, and family conflict to rising debt, environmental pollution, and rampant commercialism are all symptoms of this global plague.

The new edition traces the role overconsumption played in the Great Recession, discusses new ways to measure social health and success (such as the Gross Domestic Happiness index), and offers policy recommendations to make our society more simplicity-friendly. The underlying message isn’t to stop buying—it’s to remember, always, that the best things in life aren’t things.

Leo Tolstoy's "War and Peace," considered by most authorities to be the greatest novel ever written....certainly the most monumental at 1296 pages. Lol!

The Constance Garnet translation and the Briggs translation are the easiest to read.

I've never read War and peace but I have seen the Russian film, from it it can't be called the greatest novel written. Its focus is too narrow, dealing only with the Russian nobility. Imho Victor Hugo's Les Miserable is the greater novel, it goes into great detail on the state of the poor and their motives to survive. Ironically the second chapter of the book is never dealt with on film, Waterloo. Hugo narrates the last stand of The Immortals, it's importance is that it sets up Jean Valjean's fate. So yes Les Miserables > War and Peace.

John Ford came out with the film version of The Grapes of Wrath, 2.5 years after the book was published. As far as I know the last chapter of the book has never been filmed. Certainly Ford didn't have the technology to pull it off. He ends with Tom Joad's "I'll be there".

Finally a proper English translation of Berlin Alexanderplatz has been published. The book is considered untranslatable.

The early 20th Century German classic is an expose on the Wiemar Republic. It was first published just weeks before Black October in 1929 and is still very relevant today. In 1980, Werner Fassbinder almost did the impossible by making it into a film - that was actually a mini-series.

The infamous Illuminati secret society represents the pinnacle of power in politics, banking, and the news media; but what about the entertainment industry? Do Hollywood’s elite studios, producers, and celebrities have a secret agenda? Are they part of a covert conspiracy?

Media analyst Mark Dice will show you exactly how Hollywood uses celebrities and entertainment as a powerful propaganda tool to shape our culture, attitudes, behaviors, and to promote corrupt government policies and programs.

You will see how the CIA and the Pentagon work hand in hand with Hollywood to produce blockbuster movies and popular television shows crafted to paint positive portraits of war, Orwellian government surveillance, unconstitutional agendas, and more.

You’ll also learn the strange and secret spiritual beliefs of the stars that fuel their egos and appetites for fame and wealth, making them perfect puppets for the corporate controllers behind the scenes. And you will also discover the rare instances of anti-Illuminati celebrities who have dared to bite the hand that feeds them.

Character Howard Beale once warned in the 1976 classic film Network, “This tube is the most awesome God-damned force in the whole godless world, and woe is us if it ever falls in to the hands of the wrong people,” and unfortunately that is exactly what has happened.

Secret societies have both fascinated and frightened people for hundreds of years. Often the infamous Illuminati is mentioned as the core of conspiracies which span the globe. The Illuminati is actually a historical secret society which had goals of revolutions and world domination dating back to the 1770s.

Since then, rumors and conspiracy theories involving the Illuminati continue to spread, sometimes finding their way into popular novels like Dan Brown's Angels & Demons and Hollywood movies like Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. More recently, music videos, award shows, and sporting events are said to be somehow connected. Some men have even come forward claiming to be former members, offering details of what they allege are the inner workings of the organization.

When you sift through all of the information available on the subject, you may be surprised that the truth is stranger than fiction. In The Illuminati: Facts & Fiction, conspiracy and occult expert Mark Dice separates history from Hollywood and shows why tales of the secret society won't die.
