There is some of Vlad Jr. but not a whole lot. A lot of it is BP which doesnt tell us anything:

Right now he's at Advanced A ball which means he's probably at least 2 years away still from playing in Toronto. Also he had a horrible winter league season in the D.R. hitting .213 with 0Hr's and 6 ribbies in 90 AB's, but thats maybe because he was injured

If everything goes right,we will finish ahead of the Rays next season! LOL
Would prefer if they had a firesale at this point and accumulated bluechip prospects.

With the money saved look to be a player in the free agent market in 2020. This team will never compete with the Yanks and Redsox. They should have scooped up Stanton when they had the opportunity to salvage a couple of more competitive seasons.

Be honest with the fanbase about your direction when once the key trades are made and manage expectations accordingly. Should Shapeero be in over is head he should do the right thing and step down.

.
When/Where did Giancarlo Stanton say he'd be willing to play in Toronto?

As much as the Yankees have a big wallet, prior to last season the previous 5 seasons they won around 85 games. Good, but not great. they drafted a couple of good prospects and picked up some good players. Realizing they did not have the horses to take it to the next level, they traded away what good players they had for lots of prospects and turned into a solid contender.

The Jays would need to be lucky to make a run in 2018 so they should unload Donaldson since he is at his highest value right now and plan for 2020 when some of their promising prospects and some of their current young pitchers are ready for prime time.

Yes. Agreed whole heartedly. There are no guarantees especially in baseball but I can take losing when we have such a pitching staff and the two best prospects in baseball. Plus it lets us wait out the retirement and contracts of some serious old dead weight.

Love Martin and Tulo but they fit so well these next two years.

OK. You lost me here. They should have a firesale and get prospects meaning they will suck until the prospects mature. (Do not expect to get "ready for prime time" prospects.) However, they should have got Stanton (how/with what) so they can remain competitive. I do not see how those two strategies jive.

However, glad to see you got the right spelling for Shapeero.

Apparently his offseason home is Las Vegas.
Ya, but he gets paid by Toronto. Traitor, which can easily transition into trade 'em.
