If I were in the market for a new super-sedan, my choice would easily be the 2018 E63S. 600+ hp and AWD with the option to switch to full RWD.
The engine is a work of art and has one of the best V8 sounds I've ever heard (top of the list is the flat plane crank Mustang). My friend bought what I used to call the stupidest car class in history - the SUV Coupe. He actually bought the GLE 63 - butt ugly and stupid design (eg: radically sloped hatch that only reduces headroom and storage). So when he brought it over, I held my tongue but when I heard the engine - I was hooked. Stupid car but great engine. In a sedan chassis (or the E63 Estate) it would be amazing.

If I had a choice. I would choose the Cadillac

Fiat has introduced the Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV to the Canadian market.
Alfa's are notorious for horrendous depreciation.

then you should just go ahead and get one of the three nerdy cars on your shortlist
The short list is in the realm of possibility, the mega buck cars are fantasy ( at this time ), as I said Maserati is not on the top of my list of mega buck cars.

Best engine note I've ever heard; Ferrari, hands down, either V8 or V12. Ford used an engine design that Ferrari has used for ages when they made the new GT350R, so no surprises that it sounds amazing. AMG exhaust notes are incredible but a lot has to do with software tuning and other tricks to mask turbo noise and make you think you're driving a non-turbo car. Not a fan of the GLE but MB needed something to compete with the BMW X6 M, which is also weird looking (maybe a little less weird than the GLE?) but is an absolute beast of a car.

interesting note on 'prestige' automobiles.
I was too looking for a car in the coming months, my budget is just shy of $100k for a car.
My choices where all convertible cars (Audi RS5, Mercedes C63s, and M4 convertible).

Last week I tried a test drive at a Audi dealership and they were closed.
I went next door to their VW dealership and were open.
I took the Volkswagen GTi (autobahn version) with DSG transmission (~$35K)....
I was like no way i would pay that amount for a little VW....

I took it for a test drive by myself for just shy of 1hr.....

long story short, its probably the most fun I've ever had in owning a vehicle.
(my history of vehicles consisted of:
2010 Nissan 370z
Porsche 911 C4s
MB G550
BMW 540i
Honda civic back in my college days (lol).

I'm NOW in the market waiting for a 2018 GTi w/DSG (comes in late December from what I'm told).
maybe a "R" version too, but previous owners say its almost the same car....lol

Don't disagree - but I separate V8 muscle car sounds into a separate category from a V12. Like two different categories of music - you can love both!

Congrats! A GTI fits in with any stable of cars - doesn't matter what other cars you own. If you thought the test drive was fun, just wait until the car is yours and you don't have to worry about it being a test-drive. It is a seriously fun car. I really miss it

I think the only two american cars in Entourage were an Escalade and a 1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible Suicide Doors. I think it was a very good choice and most other american cars are uncool, subject to some very impractical and just as pricey exceptions.

My good friend Ceiling Cat. I've owned 11 different cars in my life so far. Some of them I drag raced on the Martin grove extension (before it got built up). Here's one of them:

Why don't you come out and see my band this weekend, were in the Weston - Sheppard are. Look for, My Ass Your Face.

Going back to the OP, never liked the style or feel of the Cadillac or Lincolns post-1970.
I'm more of an estate person so the Panamera 4S Sport Turismo would be at the top of the list.

I've had owners of the same car say "R" is faster, but really not that much (10K difference).
Personal preference and budget i guess....
Driving dynamics and fun factor are EQUAL!

esco must be used to people lying to him. Sad really.

Most of my early cars were rust buckets, one wheel away from the scrap yard. I was lucky, auto mechanics was taught at our high school. Our teacher would stay on after the school day was done as extra-curricular activity. Although he was a ball buster when it came to teaching math. The Karmann Ghia T3 hatchback came later but it to was eaten away by rust, I didn't keep it for long. I did my driving test in a Buick Skylark and I got dinged for speeding. So I took the test again in a Ford Maverick and passed.

The gambero on his tricycle can proceed. Here is the rust bucket:

Tesla > all

(S or X not 3)

Only thing that beats it for prestige is a car the that comes with a driver. In that case sitting in the back of your Lincoln with your driver in the front is more prestigious, unless it says "airport limo" or "Uber" somewhere on it.
