how do you know that climate depot is not a valid source? did you even bother to read it or like many leftists here refuse to loo at anything you don't like and continue to use your feelings as facts.
The first story linked to on climate depot is this one:
https://notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2017/09/02/arctic-sea-ice-extent-stable-since-2007/
In this 'report', the author looks at a chart that shows declining arctic sea ice and claims its not a downward slope by attempting to cherry pick dates.
That's incredibly shoddy.
Morano, the guy who runs that site is funded by the fossil fuel industry, clearly he works as a lobbyist spreading disinformation on behalf of his funders.

US in Longest 'Hurricane Drought' in Recorded History
Weather.com noted in the spring that the high temperatures of the Gulf of Mexico would most likely lead to larger but fewer hurricanes.
So while the number isn't as high we are looking at two record sized hurricanes within a month, which is what most sane people would call an increase in extreme weather events.

The only good news is that it hit one of Trump's properties today and is still on track for Mar a Lago.
