Crosby has never been suspended for anything like an illegal hit or stick work. He's been suspended 1 game for faking an injury so he could avoid playing at an all star game. Like that doesn't really count.

Yours is one of those possible but not probable scenarios, it's like saying the Leafs could lose all their remaining games and still got in as long as the other teams would lose theirs.
The bottom line is, this is a very close race and not as an easy job as the media and a lot of fans seem to think it is.
No the last 2 or 3 years. Pat Quinn's teams were good at beating Buffalo in Buffalo. Even the Kessel era the Leafs beat Buffalo in Buffalo.
All-time, Leafs are 28-70-6 in Buffalo.
In fact if you take away the very first 6 games the Leafs won during Buffalo's initial season the Leafs are:
22-70-6 in Buffalo. Just under 24% winning percentage.
They might have won a few here and there but I don't think there has been any era where the Leafs held their own. It's consistently been a graveyard.
I take the fact that they are saying nothing as a bad indicator. I think they'd have disclosed if it was something minor and/or day to day.
The Leafs will not make the playoffs at all. Andersen will not likely come this season at all. Curtis McElhinney is a crappy back up goalie and will not save the Leafs to make the playoffs.

Curtis is capable backup at least he's better than Enroth. The Leafs need to play better in front of him, They will be fine. Sat night the Leafs as a team did not play well. Should be better on Tuesday.
Maybe he hasn't seen a doctor yet (Leafs Doctor not Sabres Doctor). Perhaps they know on Monday.
