Let's play What's my Line/Who am I?

I am ignorant; I have verbal diarrhea; the more I say the more I show how clueless I am; I am totally insensitive and don't give a shit for others; my IQ is lower than my age; I love to take cheap shots and insult people; I have the same name as a weapon...

What's my name?

Perry

Odorizzi vs Severino in the Bronx tonight! Let's see how that Yanks' offence hits now!

At Rogers, Hutch v Jimenez.

So the Baltimore Orioles come to The Theater of Pain. I almost feel sorry for them, the city is not in a happy place and it's affected them. I expected them to be a factor in the AL East and for their bitter rivalry with the Jays to heat up. Luck hasn't been kind to either the team or the forsaken city.

More's the pity...but still..

With 29 games to go ,Jays only need to go 17-12 the rest of the way to get a 93-69 record which should be enough to take the division.
Yanks have a tough schedule ahead and with 30 games left they'd need to go 20-10 to get to 94 wins. Texeira may be out for the year and A-rod hasn't hit since July.

Things are looking good.

Jays have lots of games against AL east rivals this month, it's going to be an awesome stretch run!

Hutch back to his old form, 3 long balls thru 5 innings. Yanks are ahead 3-1, looks like we'll only have a .5 game lead after tonight.

He just lost it, especially after they tied it. So much for holding the door shut.

Maybe an opportunity for Stroman to slip into his spot in the rotation. Throw Hutch in the bullpen.

I kind of though they would lose this game and take the next two....

They looked fine until Hutch coughed up 4 runs in the 5th. They clawed back and appeared to be in control again. Hutch!!!!!! :frusty:

Yanks up 5-1 despite only getting 3 hits, doesn't help with Martin hitting into 2 double plays.

10-2 O's up in 8th. Game is clearly lost. IIRC, our only BAD defeat since the trading deadline and our worst pitching performance. Marks a return to the bad old days of the first half of the season when Hutch imploded regularly and the bullpen even more frequently.

The Blue Jays haven't been blown out (5+ run diff) since July 4th.
They've had 12 blowouts of the other guys in that time.
