Speaking of Colby Rasmus, he's platooning CF with ex-Jay top prospect Jake Marisnick for Houston this year , and they both have miserable stats. Rasmus still hitting bombs and not much else.

Ex-Jays Anthony Gose and Rajai Davis are platooning CF for The Tigers this year, and they're both barely 1.0WAR combined, Pillar is at 3.2 WAR on the season.

I remember AA mentioned recently he had an offer of a legit starter at last year's deadline for Sanchez , Franklin Baretto and Pillar. Thank god he didn't pull the trigger, this team would look a lot different today . No Donaldson, no Sanchez, and probably Anthony Gose patrolling CF so no Devon Travis. Good decision by AA to stand pat last year, which he took a lot of heat for from fans and his own players.

Jays reporting Devon Travis is probably done for the season with his bum shoulder.

For those of you suffering from MapleLeafsitiis, drink with me and be purged.

Just because the Leafs are going to suck fuckin big fuckin elephant dicks, their rancid protuberance has no place in the Jays domicile. For the record Jose will be 35 in September and Edwin turned 32 in May, wish them the best of health and continued productivity. As Tony Soprano would say, "show them the respect they deserve".

Wonder if the Jays should have a quick hook on Buehrle tonight.
Bullpen is well rested and Rangers are banging Buehrle around pretty good tonight.

Error!!!!!!!! Get Osuna warmed up and we steal a win.

Also some people will say Tulo got a lucky blooper, but that isnt luck. It takes great strength to fight off an inside fastball like that and muscle it over the infield

Nice win by a confident, resilient team. Very professional approach.

Why do they keep Tulo at leadoff?

Because he went 3 for 5 tonight. See the BBB article above. He is more effective than Revere.

Now in first place by 1 game. Price tomorrow.

Can't believe the Jays have gone from 8 behind in the loss column to the Yankees to one game ahead in less than a month.

Jays are now 19-3 with Tulo in the starting lineup and 5-1 in the road trip so far.
Really stole victory from the jaws of defeat tonight.

I was mocking the Tulo complainers.

Here's another one: I think the Jays still have a losing record in 1 run games. Probably the fault of Gibbons.

I think the Jays are 22-4 since acquiring Tulo.

Odd how a team's pitchers get better knowing grounders to shortstop are going to be well handled on a consistent basis.

Ubaldo Jimenez chewed for 7 earnies as O's down in the 8th to KC.

I tried to watch the tedious game between NYY and Astros, which simply reinforced my PoV that Astros have dick-all offence away from Minute Maid and cannot win on the Road, but have a kick-ass pitching staff to draw out the boredom and misery into the late innings. NYY slithers back into a tie for 1st place w a 1-0 walk off.

O's lose (predictably, playing at KC) and go 7 back of Jays and Yanks. Can probably officially say that the AL East is now a 2 team race.
Dick all of fence...you say? Hmm I'm liking it tonight!
