Discretion works both ways . If this said provider saw you out and lets say you were with your wife , gf , parents , kids or friends how would you feel about her walking up to you and began to divulge information in front of them that would make them question you ? Why are you anymore worthy of discretion then she is ?

First of all how do you know your friend doesn't know ? Second does her being a provider mean she cant be in a relationship ? News flash I'd be willing to bet many of the ladies you see are in some type of relationship , sorry to spoil the fantasy for you but your favorite provider isn't sitting home waiting for your call because she cant wait to see you ! And third your tell all could hurt others why would you want to intentionally hurt someone ?

The OP's internal conflict, regarding whether to 'out' the SP or not, is rooted in his flawed belief (likely subliminal) that SPs can't go on to have normal, fulfilling long term/ marital relationship.

I sincerely hope that karma strikes him, if he does out her. Perhaps in the form of a 'friend' disclosing to his future partner or kids that he was a hobbiest.

The conundrum is that you also owe your best friend something. The OP isn't the only one who will recognize this woman, does he want his friend to get blindsided at a party by some jerk with it?

Everybody rightly talks about SP privacy but he isn't proposing to out her to just any random person she had a relationship with and he isn't really judging her either.

Which is why I think he talks to her, he can say "My friend is a great guy and I am glad he found someone like you. I just want to make sure you are honest with him."

That way she can find the right time and place to tell him, and not just let him get blindsided one day at a party by some drunk former client of hers.
