To me, all in would mean if you don't win it all then you are doomed to suck after that.

The Jays are still a very strong and young organization and look how many minor league pitchers they gave away. Not depleted.

So not only does he know how to make a deal, he did a fantastic job of developing a scouting, drafting and development system with which he stockpiled all these arms (mostly lefties) that other teams covet and were willing to make deals. The old adage that "you can never have enough pitching" was used by AA to do what he did this week.
Play ball.
First I love the signings and am anxious for them to succeed! I think Gibby especially and probably AA are all in. If they don't show a ton of progress and a major effort there will be at least one fall guy.
This team is built for the future if they can fill the pitching vacancies that may occur at seasons end. If they can fill those possible vacancies the team should be fine. If they can't then the all in call will be right on. The all in will be right if they win it all!

I think only thing still missing from this team is a solid No3 starter after Price and Buehrle

Dickey has been too inconsistent this year to be a solid #3 starter IMO

See, now I'd have said that about Hutch lol
And you'd be right about him too.

If we do make the playoffs I wont feel very comfortable with Hutch pitching road games

Maybe with the addition of Latroy Hawkins and Mark Lowe, there's not really a pressing need to have Sanchez in the bullpen.
Maybe Hutchison can be moved to the bullpen where he can be a kind of right handed Brian Tallet type of long reliever and move Sanchez back into the starting rotation where he was in a really nice groove in his last 7 starts or so before he pulled a muscle in his back.

Because the way Hutch is throwing this year he's like a right handed Brian Tallet pitching in the rotation.
That would be a significant upgrade to starting rotation and there's a chance that Stroman can pitch out of the bullpen in September to make up for the loss of Sanchez.

I wonder if Aaron Loup will be optioned down to Buffalo.
The Jays still have 3 options they can burn on him.
Lefthanded batters are hitting .273 off Loup before today's game while with Latroy Hawkins lefthanders are only hitting .184 off of him this season; so, he looks like a natural fit to take over Loup's job of getting out lefthanded batters.

R. A. Dickey's e.r.a. in June? 3.32
R. A. Dickey's e.r.a in July? 2.57

Inconsistent is right, it's steadily falling these past 2 months. :D

Dodge of question noted.

Like I said, he's been inconsistent so far this year
Didn't dodge a question.
Informed you to do your own research if you know how, if you're not sure what his April/May numbers were.

You see that Costanza, thats called clutch-hitting.
Jays win an important game, now just 1 back from WC spot when Twins lose

There was also clutch fielding earlier in the game when someone threw the ball past Smoak and allowed two runs to score.
