As I said, bullpen blows another one, and no relief in sight.Bullpen ruins a solid outing by Norris. I still think the BP is going to prove to be the one glaring soft spot this season.

My bet is an attempt to increase concession sales as well by getting them into the park with no time for dinner out before.experiment in Boston.....could be better for people who work downtown to come to games from work, and better for kids to be home an hour earlier. Not a bad idea. It gets darker earlier on the east coast might factor as well.
Ricky Romero says his release by the Toronto Blue Jays came as a surprise
And so it ends on yet another distasteful and surreal note, as so much before.
Oh well, like Jack Morris always said: "Put up ten for me, boys! I've never lost yet with ten on the board." Or eleven, I guess.Anything to cut down on the runs being allowed. Had Toronto not put up that 5 spot in the 3rd, they'd probably have lost another.
Bullpen has been horrific, its painful to see sure wins become losses. Toronto should be much better in the standings.
Will see if Brett Cecil as a closer it the way to go.
Interesting....I was wondering about this.experiment in Boston.....could be better for people who work downtown to come to games from work, and better for kids to be home an hour earlier. Not a bad idea. It gets darker earlier on the east coast might factor as well.
Dude is a nut job. I remember when he was getting absolutely shelled, and couldn't throw a strike for his life. His ERA was at about 12, and he made a comment that he shouldn't be sent down.He must be the only one who was surprised.
He completely lost it around 4 years ago and he doesn't think they gave him a fair chance?
ya...I don't know about that. Offence hasn't been the problem. It's been pitching, both starters and bullpen. No good putting up 8 runs when the other team scores 9Wait until JB and EE start to hit. That will turn things around fast.
that's great because he's a big part of my fantasy team....lolNot Blue Jays related, but ..... Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley walks off after taking a line drive off his cheek. All reports (at this time) indicate no fractures.

here here. and a better manager tooHad a feeling before the season started that the success of the team largely hinged on how the 3 young starters , Hutchison, Sanchez, Norris fared and they've all struggled.
Nobody has been able to replace what Stroman and Happ did last year and that puts the team in a deep hole.
Everything in baseball is like a probability wave and the probability wave that is the pitching staff is like a hurricane killing any chance of getting to the playoffs.
Next year I think the team should bring in a new pitching coach because the younger pitchers are not developing under Pete Walker.
I would like them to get Jim Hickey of Tampa. Double his salary and offer him the job over here.
It's a brutal world; but, baseball coaches are evaluated on the results they get and he's not getting enough out of his staff.
