If the Rays pitching is that great then why so many so called experts predicting them to be near the bottom of the AL east?
Because baseball is the least predictable of all the major team sports.

Fuck, so infuriating when you lose 3/4 to a team with a pop gun offence like TB.

Sanchez did reasonably OK though.
Three ERA over 5.1 innings is somewhat acceptable.

Lets hope its upwards from there

Reyes appears to be headed to the DL with a cracked rib. Too bad he was off to a good start.

Reyes is even more brittle than Hinske was.

Aroid has to be juicing again. There's no way a 39-year old (who will turn 40 this summer) could smack the ball around like he is right now.

He's got 4 homers and over 10 ribbies in 10 games

Cecil closer? I think not. Don't wait make changes now.

R.A. (Robert Allen) Dickey this afternoon. He cost us the last game he pitched so who knows what will happen.
Haven't they already said that Castro will close unless there is a better match-up, or words to that effect?

Dickey has done well last 2 games, at least according to mlb.com stats! It was the bats that didn't show up.

RAD walked in 2 runs in 1 wild inning last game, but overall in that game and his other start, he has been statistically solid. We have usually been getting good, but not lights out pitching. The exceptions have been Sanchez, Redmond and Cecil. And Sanchez appears to be improving.

As Teassoc says: Ain't much you can do w half the BO batting under .200! The bitch is that everybody but Jose broke out last night and it was the pitching that didn't show up. So we lost another 1 run game anyway!

easy ak, you always bring your closer in the ninth...and we won
He blew his save. Luckily Donaldson came through.

We need a real closer

real or not, he is the closer.......the real problem is the starting pitching.......Castro does have the best arm on the team, lets see how it goes
