Keon should be in there before George.Well good thing is the Leafs have built up some insurance for when the players win a game.
Leafs beat Winnipeg 4-3 in OT, JVR scored the winner.
Next up Philadelphia on Thursday.

It's all political. The Leaf management doesn't like Keon. Same with Busher Jackson who some think is the best left winger ever or second best just behind Bobby Hull but Leaf management doesn't like him because he spent all his money on wine, women, song and friends.Keon should be in there before George.
Busher Jackson top left winger of all time or second best? Good lord -- please tell me all the "some" who think that. It's all political. The Leaf management doesn't like Keon. "Though he was considered one of hockey's greatest left wingers"Busher Jackson top left winger of all time or second best? Good lord -- please tell me all the "some" who think that.
This game was old fashion Leaf hockey. Outshot 49 to 17 and won the game 3-2.Leafs win second in a row. Oh oh.
Beat Flyers 3-2.
Montreal up next. Saturday night in Montreal.
Not sure why the Flyers would do that, cash out to Pronger (assuming the contract was not insured) combined over the next 2 seasons is only $1,050,000.....$525K each year. That's classic. Who knows?
Why not before the league cuts off this glitch and stops a team like Toronto from dramatically bringing its own cap down, and fixing bad long term contracts by trading for long term IR players.
Hmmm ...
Phaneuf to the Flyers for Pronger

Yes, that and I was kidding. That's crazy, I didn't realize the Pronger contract was up so soon. I was thinking it was a 9yr deal like Ilya Bryzgalov. So yeah, scratch that move lol
Pronger is on a 7 year deal, hasn't played since the 2011-12 season (13 games). That's crazy, I didn't realize the Pronger contract was up so soon. I was thinking it was a 9yr deal like Ilya Bryzgalov. So yeah, scratch that move lol
Except those playoff bound teams do not want to weaken their rosters heading into the tourney.Listening to McCown yesterday and he thinks the Leafs may trade Horton to Chicago , Rangers,LA or some other team with lots of money and little cap room, and in return get high draft picks and/or a player with a high salary that can help the Leafs. It depends on how much teams are willing to pay to get cap space.
You are right but come seasons end and teams having cap trouble going into 2015-16, trading Horton will be very feasible.Except those playoff bound teams do not want to weaken their rosters heading into the tourney.
Agree. Season end is a different story. You are right but come seasons end and teams having cap trouble going into 2015-16, trading Horton will be very feasible.
