Is it time for civil war against the public sector unions

Im talking parents walking in and taking back our schools. Throwing teachers out of classrooms and replacing them with student graduates and teachers new to Canada from other countries who won't threaten the kids education.

Citizens driving ttc buses for twenty bucks an hour.

Private security doing street patrol.

All maintenance work outsourced.

Parks and rec staff outsourced.

Nurses replaced with more compassionate ones from around the world.

Libraries shuttered

etc.
Dream on.

They're shitholes because the union takes all the maintenance money to fatten their already thick wallets and doesnt do its job looking after them. The subway washrooms are so clean n fresh smelling after they outsourced the job.
Are you saying your basement apartment doesn't have a usable washroom so you have been using the TTC washrooms? Did you buy a metropass so you can use the can? How many times a month do you have to use the TTC can in order to make a metro pass more economical than tokens?

Great, now you have a warm place to sleep at night.

You see how the union elite mocks everyone else.

I actually find it interesting that happ says that he wants more compassionate nurses from around the world yet steers clear of saying that we should also outsource or pay them less.
Of course we can pay them less. The nurses here are paid like CEOs.

Find a different supplier, you're being given hallucinogens mixed in with your crack!

Happ, look at the golden parachute the Target CEO received http://fortune.com/2014/05/21/target-ceos-golden-parachute-61-million/

Why aren't you jumping up and down and do you know of any nurses, posties or teachers that make this kind of money??

Maybe only the nurses in Alberta. If CEOs only earn that much then maybe they are owners of a corner street grocery store. :)

You still haven't figured this out yet, but the reason you're being mocked happ is because your opinions so far lack any critical thinking and willingness to see both sides of the issue. You've also completely ignored that the issues with the public sector are also present in the private sector. Again, there are problems on both sides of the fence. You may want to try to open your eyes just a bit more to see the real story.

Your comparison to the health care sector and private CEO's is totally off-base. You are comparing people making $100 to 300K to some CEO's making millions to tens of millions of dollars with millions of dollars in severance, and stock options. Your millionaire CEO is worth a department full of health care workers even with the pensions, etc.

Since you don't like our system so much, I propose you move to the US and see how much better they have it there.

Still not remotely close to any private sector CEO with their stock options, termination and hiring bonuses.
And no CEO ever changed a dressing, started an IV, brought you a bedpan or alerted the docs that you were worsening.

Nurses are essential, CEOs are accessories.

Very simplistic.
