At the 56-second mark in the CNN interview, Hamdan says quite clearly that he was asked about statements that were posted by Isreali MP Moshe Feiglin that reportedly said Feiglin supports concentration camps.

In this case, the translation may be correct but the context is most probably not. And the author's assertion that it was taken out of context should at the very least give you enough doubt about the legitimacy of the quote as to not use it.

CNN says right in their story that they checked the quote for accuracy.

That's easy, no media has released anything other then the 12 second, MEMRI edited clip.
There is no sign that anyone received anything other one out of context quote.
