Gryfin, you can flail about all you like, and when you get tired of flailing, it will still be the case that CNN fact checked the quote.

According to you, we don't need to know what was said before or after.
Now, you are officially guilty of lying.

I never said we don't need to know what was said before or after. In fact, we do know what was said before and after.

Before he actually uttered the blood libel, he introduced it by saying "We all remember..."

After he said it, he stated that it is "a fact" and that it has been confirmed by the Jews' books and by history.

We know what was said before and after the blood libel. And it all confirms that he was promoting hatred of the Jews for being Jewish.

Is the Osama Hamdan quote accurate?
Since you got the attribution wrong (again), I fixed your question for you.

And the answer to your question is: Yes, Osama Hamdan did state the blood libel in order to promote hatred of the Jews for being Jewish.

According to you, we don't need to know what was said before or after. We don't need to know any context. As long as you utter these words you are guilty. And you have.
I'll put the same challenge to you that I put to Groggy: Tell us specifically what the "context" is that you say legitimizes Hamdan's blood libel.

I'll bet you respond the same way Groggy has by continually evading the question.

You think its the full interview if the 12 second clip now has another second on either end?
Well, if your MEMRI quoting policy is still in action.

Blitzer called it concentration camps.

Hamdan clearly was angry over a policy that moviefan and fuji still defend, a call for concentration camps.

As predicted, Groggy completely evaded the question about what context would supposedly legitimize Hamdan's blood libel.

How would I know?
That part of the video is missing.
So you finally admit that your assertion that Hamdan was taken "out of context" is completely baseless.

And if you were truly being honest, you would admit that there is no "context" that would legitimize Hamdan's blood libel.

No, Hamdan says his words were taken out of context and MEMRI is an Israeli government propaganda wing run by ex-IDF.
Mistranslations and quotes out of context are their specialty.

Fortunately we know the rules for using quotes here.
Like this:
Blitzer called it concentration camps.
Proving that both you and fuji are more concerned about one person possibly be racist then an MP in the Israeli government calling for concentration camps.

No, Hamdan says his words were taken out of context....
So the choice is whether to believe Hamdan's claims of a different "context" (a claim that you have publicly admitted is not supported by any evidence) or whether to believe CNN, the New York Times, The Atlantic and other mainstream media.

That settles it. Unless you can produce evidence and a precise description of this supposedly different context, we can all agree that the assertion that he was taken out of context is completely baseless.

I trust CNN. I don't need to fact check their fact checking.
Oh yeah, your faith based argument.

I have faith that gryfin can fact check this quote for me.

Prove they 'fact checked' the full interview and not just the 12 second clip.
You've got it dead wrong, Groggy.

You're the one who is alleging the media all got it wrong. The onus is on you to prove it.

Either produce the evidence or admit that your assertions are completely baseless.

Me?
Funny.

I just watched clip again and didn't find any statement by CNN that they fact checked the full QUDS interview against the 12 second MEMRI clip.
Its you that are claiming something that there is no evidence of existing.

All we know is that Hamdan claims MEMRI, which has a long history of fabrication, took a quote out of context.
Of course we don't do that here, do we?

Do we use quotes like this?
Blitzer called it concentration camps.
Oh, by the way, new quote from Netanyahu.
Netanyahu introduced numerous ministers and MKs who sat on stage with him at the event in Petach Tikvah, and unlike in the past, made a point of introducing Feiglin, about whom Netanyahu said that he “always was full of surprises, many of them good. I appreciate this.”

Sounds like Netenyahu could also be supporting Feiglin's plan for concentration camps.

Faith that CNN know how to fact check a quote? Absolutely. You sound stupid denying the published news.

an MP in the Israeli government calling for concentration camps.
How many more times do you need to lose that debate before you stop spewing that lie?

You were already caught lying about what Blitzer said. You yourself provided a definition of concentration camp that proved his plan wasn't one. You can't even produce a quote where he uses the phrase, and the only place you ever found any Israeli using the phrase was a proposal to give MORE land to the Palestinians!

If you have evidence that CNN, the New York Times, the Atlantic, and other major media throughout the world got the story wrong, produce it.

At this point, your assertions are completely baseless.

I'll repeat what I said earlier: You're the one asserting that major media throughout the world got the story wrong. The onus is on you to prove it.

The onus is not on myself, Fuji, and others to prove that the stories are accurate, particularly when there is currently no dispute about the credibility of the stories. Your opinions do not qualify as evidence.

Produce the evidence or concede that your assertions are completely baseless.

Groggy is just completely unhinged now, blatantly lying now about what I posted. As if people can't see what I wrote. What a fucking sad, pathetic, bitter little clown.
Obviously the code of conduct in this forum is looser than in others. Either that or the mods find his posts downright funny in a pathetic kind of way.
