Yes! This is what people who don't exercise don't get - working out doesn't leave you tired, but energized and feeling great!
Not true at all. Working out is difficult and one usually feels terrible after it. If the reverse were true, the conditioning effect would see everybody going to the gym regularly. The only thing that most of us feel energized about after a workout is the chance to eat more ice cream at Dairy Queen.

So close and yet so far.

No, you're wrong--MattRoxx is right. And no one needs to go to a gym. I do a power walk every morning, usually between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. I come home feeling quite spent, take a shower, change my clothes and I feel great the rest of the day. My favourite time to see an SP is, and the ladies I see can attest to this, is "early as possible" when the energy kicks in. Try it for a few weeks and you'll see it's true.

Many people have tried and failed because it's not true for most people. This is why there is an obesity epidemic. Reinforcement would ensure that most people stay fit if they actually experienced immediate and consistent physical benefits from it. A cup of coffee makes us feel more energy and the feeling is readily apparent.

When I did work out in the past, and on the rare occasion that I do now, it's not because of any energy boost because I don't experience it. It's because over time I know it makes me look good. There are many overall health benefits too but those are only felt once you're actually in good healthy shape.

EXPECTING results within days is where people like you and many fail. You don't see immediate results, you slowly condition your mind and body to what's most efficient for a healthy life with longevity.

You won't see immediate results if you've quit smoking cold turkey. What makes you think it's the same to being healthy? you seem like a smart pal. I'd wait a few more decades before magic pills for weight-loss comes as long l0l. Caffeine gives you satisfaction for what? 1-2 hours, then you get a terrible 'low' feeling. Drink a couple shots of espresso then tell me otherwise. Being an active person I rarely get any 'lows' as when I splurge on fast food or being dependent on drugs for a lift.

You can choose to put in the work or not, there's no short-cuts.

Google search disproves your theory to the benefits of exercise to majority of the population. Choose to be lazy, but don't try and convince people of nonsense.

No obesity epidemic in 2nd and 3rd world countries. Maybe those folks were born with non-obesity genes.
Hilarious..........................:frown: pretty tough to buy a bag of chips or bottle of soda when your annual income is $3.00, mainly from spending 12 hour days roaming through garbage dumps trying to find recyclable materials to resell

Are you fucking shitting me? Have you picked up a magazine lately? Turned on a TV? Watched a movie? Walked down the street with a friend who was BBW/BBM? Fat shaming is as rampant as ever, Society does not accept that average at all.
Actually I've known Jess quite a while and I can tell you she doesn't take issue with "walking down the street" with those she considers her friends. Regardless of their size and shape. If you make the effort to be healthy she will applaud your effort.

I understand where you are coming from. I've been what our society considers a BBW once upon a time. I am certainly not what people picture when they think of slender... You need get over the thin skin you have which is related to your perceived size. In these parts it is fodder for the masses.

You must have realized the reason you get away without paying for advertising and still get clients from here via pm is none other than the size of your assets. BBW may be a publicly dismissed body type at times but there is no disputing that many of the members like a bit of cushion at times. They just don't want one who whines about it publicly.

I'm hypothyroid. I should weight a lot more than I do... but I've found my system. I exercise all the time, so I get hungry easily, but all I eat is lean protein and carbs... very limited gluten, sugar, dairy, starch. I happen to really love those foods so it's no effort.
Jess you know we eat similarly. It works for both of us. It keeps you lean and trim at your height, and me curvy and exactly as I prefer at my height. It really is ideal for many people.

Though we share the same weaknesses. It has been too long since we last went out! Miss ya!

I read a news story a couple of years ago which basically said the average 30 year old American woman today weighs 25 pounds more than her mother did at the same age.
I weigh more than 25 lbs above my mothers weight at my age. I am also 6 inches taller. Of course I weigh more than she does. We wear the same size though.

It's not so much that you are fat but where you are fat. Many fat women have fat bums and thighs which is less concerning than fat abdomens.
This is my problem. I carry all of mine in those places and it drives me crazy!

Thanks Lily, for being understanding, I embrace my size just fine, but I really do have thin skin when it comes to misconceptions of body weight. Generalizing why obesity exists is erroneous, plain and simple. There are many factors all of which are unique to the individual, it is not skin deep. There are emotional impacts as well, especially in a society that does in fact fat shame. It creates a vicious cycle that doom people to be unhealthy. That being said, aside from my heart issue I am younger looking than my age, and vastly healthy. At 35 I can still do much of what I could at 25, so the misconceptions really irritate me. I am as flexible as most of the spinners here ;)

**Also in terms of the advertising, not to justify it but to be clear I have never snagged a client off of terb, anyone who has seen me who happens to be a member here came across me via other means and only after meeting realized I was even on here.

I was not always a big(er) lady. In fact, I was rather athletic until later in years. But in any case, it does not matter, to me, I just wish society could learn to just live and let live. Dammit, I think I may be an idealist.

How can you be 35 and not be used to it and expect it by now.

What a charmed world you live in. I've taken shit and been looked at with disgust for ages.

Obesity is a major health risk. Society needs to tackle the obesity problem. I don't think living and let living applies to this case. For the kids sake more than anything because it's becoming apparent that parents are struggling to raise children who are of healthy weight. And it's basically been shown that a fat kid = a fat adult.

First of all, fat is not contagious. Second of all, show legit scientific proof, news articles from second rate sites do not count.

In type I diabetes mellitus the beta cells no longer produce insulin. Mostly genetic.
In type II diabetes mellitus your tissues are resistant to insulin. Mostly caused by obesity.
Type II can lead to type I in which the beta cells just stop producing insulin. It can happen but not always.

http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20131111/more-evidence-ties-obesity-to-disability-in-older-women. The source of the article is from JAMA. The gist: obesity in women is tied to decreased mobility, higher rates of heart disease and early death. WebMd has a bunch of great, easy to read articles. At the end of each article is the legit, scientific studies and journals they'be been presented in that each article is based on.

You should have a good chat with your doctor, too, if you don't think obesity is of major concern. I really don't care too much about obese adults...I do feel sorry for them (mobility issues/deteriorating quality of life in older age etc.) and I hope they change their lifestyles for the better if possible but you can't help those who don't or won't help themselves. I deeply care for the kids who are overweight at an earlier and earlier age. While fat is not contagious, poor dietary and lifestyle choices are certainly passed on from parents to children.
