According to the Score he only weighs 169lbs. and that might be exaggerating a bit, he'll need to put on some muscle to survive the NHL.
5'9" and 170 lbs. He's even smaller than Nazem Kadri. I remember when small Jason Blake was with the Leafs and how easily opposing players pushed him around. Of course, one can always point to Martin St. Louis as a small player made good.

Nylander is 5' 11" and 170, and has grown (2") in the last year.

Patrick Kane is listed as 5'11" 180, 25 yrs old
Nazem Kadri is listed as 6'0" 188 23 yrs old
Martin St. Lous is listed as 5'8" (yeah, right), 176 39 yrs old.

2 Hall of Fame players listed there, and a young guy with very nifty mittens.

Give young Mr. Nylander a few years to fill out, it's likely he'll play around 185-195.

I know it's easy to get into the NHL HOF, but let's not put Kane in just yet. His career stats pale compared to Lindros, who still isn't in.
Lindros should be in. That he isn't is embarrassing.

The selection committee that hasn't elected him is the same one (with 1 or 2 exceptions) that didn't vote Pat Burns in until after he was dead. Burns must have become a much better coach after his death.

Kane will have HoF numbers when he's done, barring injury.

Eric is a friggin jerk. Anybody that knows him well can vouch for what an asshole he is. Hope he never makes the HOF because he needs to be humbled.

Brett Lindros on the other hand is the epitome of class. I was so disappointed when he had no choice but to walk away from the game due to health concerns. Brett may have not been half the hockey player that Eric was but he will always be 10 times a gentleman.

Leafs select William Nylander from MoDo in Sweden.

Looks to be a highly skilled C/W who wants the puck on his stick. Son of former NHL'er Michael Nylander so he has good genes. My only concern is his size - he needs to do some strengthening.
This kid looks fast - just hope they dont rush him into the lineup

You know it's the Hockey Hall of Fame, not the Nice Guy or Gentleman's Hall of Fame, right?

Using your criteria, the HHoF may have to evict a few members, let's start with Bobby Hull.

I would've taken Ritchie ahead of Nylander. He looks tiny and the reports that he avoids traffic playing in Europe bodes not bode well for his transition to North American ice.

To each their own, but Lindros never makes my HoF just based on what he did on the ice.
Too many have made it into the HHoF who do not deserve it .... in my HHoF anyway.

I really liked Neely as a player.
He was one of the few who could do it all.
Now as much as it hurts me to say ... no Cam Neely does not get into my Hall of FAME.

Has Clarkson been traded yet?

Damn.
I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Teams should be lined up to acquire a winger who makes $4.75 million this upcoming season and is coming off a massive 11 point season.

According to some members, he contributes in more ways than just scoring points.

I can see Nonis making a pitch for Statsny, just buy out Clarkson to clear some space.

TSN reporting Leafs close to acquiring Gorges from montreal. Who goes the other way ?

Gorges will have to agree to a trade to the Leafs, non of the other Canadian based teams are on his trade list so he can block any trade to the Leafs if he so chooses.

Are you going to go through the entire list of Hall and potential Hall members one by one ?
