It's like picking a number out of a hat, pure luck. Way too many factors that come into play. It does absolutely nothing to demonstrate one's knowledge if one happens to get the number of games right.It's no different then say betting.. then betting with a spread. So come now Mr Powers, live dangerously

I have 7 Blues (out of 14 picks) in my hockey draft, including their top 3 point getters from the regular season plus Pietrangelo.
No Blues had been taken when I took Steen with the 41st pick during the 4th round. When I took Backes in the 6th round and and Oshie in the 7th still no one else had taken a Blue yet about 8 Hawks had been taken, most of them by the 3rd round.
I know Chic is a great team but aside from finishing the season weak, the Blues have been just as good and even have home ice advantage.
If the Blues take it all I am virtually a lock for our $1,000 first place payout. Hence, my partisanship.
Who the heck is in your hockey draft? In our draft Backes, Steen and Oshie all went 2nd/3rd round.
How many people are in your draft? I am surprised you could get Blues that deep.
Depending on how many people / players per team in your league a trip to the WCF may be enough. I loaded up on 8 Rangers on my 14 picks, in a 11 or 12 person draft 2 years back. It helped that the draft was in Ottawa, and the Rangers were playing Ottawa. All my picks were 30+ point guys, and almost all the leading scorers on the Rangers. The Rangers made the ECF and that was enough for me to win.
We have 12 guys and I had 8th pick. First I took James Neal. My second was Kunitz. Third round I lucked out with Nathan MacKinnon. Then I started scooping Blues. I am currently tied for first even though I have no points from my first two picks on Pitt. I do have 4 points each from Niskanen and Paul Martin.
I agree. If Blues win 2 rounds I'm looking pretty good. Everybody loved the Hawks so they passed on St. Loo. By the 4th round I couldn't wait any longer.

Face to face does not bode well for Cooke.
I think that means it is going to be more then four games ... at least, if I recall correctly, that is what it meant in the regular season.
It is funny, I really liked Lucic when he first came into the league.
But now all the crap the supposed tough guy has done ... I do not want him.
He is suppose to be tough, but the hits from behind, spears, hiding behind Chara and of course the courageous goalie incidents ... he is an embarrassment.

I don,t agree with what Milan did either, but please stop with all the 'hiding' behind chara crap, and that he is a dirty player, bully, whatever. the guy is one of the best power forwards in the league. the hit on miller.... the guy was 30 feet out of his net, what should he do, skate around him. I noticed ' all the sabres' that came to his defense. that's what I expected from you 'MEATHEAD', A CHILDISH RESPONSE FROM A 8 YEAR OLD.
