L.A. is fine and the sun shines most of the time
But I'm New York City born and raised.

Gary Bettman's dream final come true.

And how are the leafs doing in this years playoffs?

Lets Go RANGERS!

I've been a Rangers fan for 35 years.
I'd say the Leafs were so close yet so far away.

They missed the playoffs so they weren't close; yet for 3 quarters of the season they were as good or better than the Habs and the Rangers. Rangers' trade for St. Louis worked out much better than the Habs' pickup of Vanek, while the Leafs did nothing at the trade deadline to address their weaknesses.

The Leafs can't finish, haven't been able to in years. Perhaps the other teams would agree to another shortened season to allow the Leafs in to the playoffs?

Carcillo wins his appeal of 10 game suspension. Bettman knocks it down to 6 games he has 3 more to sit out. I'm thinking he doesn't get in the lineup at all during the finals but it proves you can appeal a 10 game suspension and win.

'IF' this final ends 4-0 for LA, there will be some who say the Rangers didn't deserve being here, but nothing could be further from the truth. Sometimes stats only tell part of the story. For the third year in a row, the Championship series has started with OT victories. Could you ask for more competitive games.

The favourites like Boston and Pittsburgh didn't peak or performed in the playoffs and don't deserve to be in the finals. The NYR do. Great records in the reg season means nothing if you choke in the playoffs.

Great game #2: LA 5 - NYR 4, double OT and end to end action.

I'm glad the Kings have ground the Rangers down. The Rangers are a bunch of dirty pricks especially Dorsett. No class.
Remember Dorsett snowed the little kid at the Bell Centre.

You forgot to mention the NY Rangers who helped the little misguided(wearing Montreal sweater) kid who tripped over the cord while the Montreal players could not careless and ignored him.

The Los Angeles Kings win their second Cup in three years.
They do it on home ice in a 3-2 OT victory. Alec Martinez was the hero in the second OT period.
Justin Williams wins the Conn Smythe.
