Done..... assuming most of the bats aren't brokenA bag of balls and a dozen bats.
I seriously doubt Boston would give up a good 2nd baseman in a time where good ones are tough to find. Who would they replace him with? Boston would take JB just would not trade Pedroia to do it.Not so sure about that... if JB were "on," he could hit 50 a year over the Green Monster.

So the question resolves itself to whether the gain in offense is more valuable to the team than the loss in defense...I seriously doubt Boston would give up a good 2nd baseman in a time where good ones are tough to find. This is pitiful now...Wonderful.....JJ is throwing BP in the first inning again.......
Must be tough on management and players when the season is a lost cause and there are still 60 games left. Expectations are low and pressure to win is even lower. Some players might just try to enhance their own personal stats.I think everybody now concedes that 2013 is a lost cause.
If you wanted to know if I would trade Bautista for Pedroia why would you suggest trading Bautista for Kinsler. I don't know of many people who thing Pedroia and Kinsler are equals.Ok, so would you trade Bautista for Pedroia? Keeping in mind the need for a second baseman. Just curious. With all of JB's skills, the Jays are still mired in last place, and they weren't doing any worse without him when he was injured.
Don't recall where I said I was an expert on MLB. I am more knowledgeable than you are. That is essentially meaningless based upon your comments on this board. Why would you say something stupid like stupid? When a team is so far behind in the standings the pressure to win is not the same as trying to clinch a playoff spot. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Jay management and the players have considered 2013 a write-off.
Why do you think you are such an expert on MLB?
P.S. Maybe the Jays can play the role of spoiler.
As long as we have to face Felix. I'd rather write the game off than lose a quality stert by another pitcher.King Felix was pitching for Seattle tonight...so next tuesday Josh Johnson vs. King Felix Hernandez....get your bets down......actually you gotta feel for JJ....this guy has been an ace and was supposed to be again.....now he makes Ricky Romero's 2012 season look respectable
Ya I know.....but watching him is sooooooooo painful. I love to watch baseball. He is just killing me!The JJ situation is not really that urgent - sadly. The Jays are well out of the WC race and they have no young aces chomping at the bit in AAA. May as well take your lumps w Johnson.

It is very painful. I think that's why Gibby finally pulled him and used up the 'Pen last night. It was just too cruel leaving JJ out there to be beaten and humiliated. But I hated the fact they blew 3 relievers for multi inning appearances on a game already lost by the 3rd inning.Ya I know.....but watching him is sooooooooo painful. I love to watch baseball. Interesting thought. So now JJ is canon fodder. As long as we have to face Felix. I'd rather write the game off than lose a quality stert by another pitcher.
