Perhaps you could outline the differences between the platforms of the old Reform Party and the current Conservatives ? Or is this just about the current leader that I thought you loved so dearly.
The biggest glaring difference is Senate reform. The Conservatives have been in power for how long and done sfa in that area other than putting more conservative asses in the seats.
The Reform also did not see the country as two founding nations, French and English, unlike the present government. They did not believe that secession should be avoided at all cost. So much so Manning didn't attend Federal rallies in Quebec during the referendum campaign.
The Reform were against the GST.
The Reform were against Gay and Lesbian rights, not that that's a good thing, just a major difference, as you requested.
