You cannot honestly see the similarities between a left leaning centre party and a right leaning leftist party? I gave you too much credit.
All I did was ask you for more details to support you bare bones claim. I don't expect a Poli Sci seminar. Your hesitation makes me even more certain you really don't know a credible answer. Quick, better google something. A few years ago a person who probably forgot more than you will ever know about Canada's political scene described all the major parties basically as socialist trains, resulting from the Canadian citizen's psyche, going in the same direction, just that each one wanted to get destination at different speeds than the other two.

I guess you forget when the Conservative under Mulroney were eviscerated down to two seats. The Liberals had many more than that. What made you think the Liberal were gone?
Mostly the last federal election.... didn't they get bitch-slapped at the polls?

In other words, a very limited view of Canada's election history. Even in the last election the liberals got 17x's the seats Mulroney's conservative did in the early 90's. That's what I call a bitch slap; a majority government to two seats.

What, pray tell, do the early 90s have to do with the next election....

Wait, are the Librals going to re-enter federal politics? I was so hoping for an NPD majority government.

This has to do with your initial idiot claim about the Liberal re entering Federal politics, as they never left, then the claim they got bitch slap when they got nothing like it. They will be in the next election right up to their necks and may win.

4 out of 5 parties are left leaning, add them up any you get 61.4% of the vote.
That's a nonsense calculation. The NDP and Liberals would NEVER agree on policy, there aren't 61.4% supporting some center left platform. There are two bickering parties that can't agree on a damned thing, and in fact, the NDP routinely accuse the Liberals of being a right wing party. They just don't agree with each other.

At the time of the last election the most popular platform in Canada was the Conservative party platform. It attracted more people than any other platform.

I would love to see the NDP and the Liberals unite on the right and form a unified party--but don't fool yourself into thinking it would get 61% of the vote. The right flank of the Liberal party would defect for the Conservatives and the left flank of the NDP would hive off and form a far left protest party. The resulting party would have a much better shot at winning an election -- but with the right leaning Liberal defections to the Conservatives that new "New Liberal Democratic Party" or whatever and the Conservatives would likely wind up in a 50-50 race with each drawing about the same support.

Senator Duffy, in order to brag that he paid back the money he mistakenly got, received a 'gift' from PMO Chief of Staff, for $90,000 to do so. It's a joke, any wonder the conservatives are on the 2 year slippery slope.

Harper follows the US style of politics. They will come out early and ugly , trying to define, disqualify and delegitimize Trudeau before his campaign can get any traction whatsoever.
Just like Obama's goons did to Romney.

Yes Capt Cut and Paste, really. They stooped to levels that are frankly beneath the dignity of an honest, issues based campaign and Romney was too much of a gentleman, and had too much personal honour to punch back.

Obamas career has been built on the back of unsealing divorce documents, and using personal attacks to try and disqualify opponents.

I don't remember Rhomneys face on poster on top that of a witch doctor, Hitler, or Joker. The birthers were a carnie show for the amusement of the double digit crowd. Yet you call the Obama campaigner goons.
