kirk vs picard vs janeway vs sisco

i got to call picard as the best all around captain. he was a diplomat and wasn't afraid to bust some ass either. first to encounter the borg and kicked ass their too.

janeway turned into a good captain but only due to the circumstances. if she hadn't been hurled into space the way she was it wouldn't have happened.

then kirk. all he did was fight and fuck. if he couldn't beat you up he would just do sex to you. far to hot headed.

sisco at the bottom of the list. he basically just ran a big hotel and restaurant.

kirk was horrible and had no idea what he was doing. every away mission he took his entire senior staff and if they died the ship would be fucked. picard sent his badasses and hung out to take of shit in the ship.

also picard went bald with dignity. kirk got a toupee.

i got a girlfriend. i saw that the local theater here was doing a special screening of TNG when the borg kidnapped picard and made him borg. she asked me about it so i gave full details from the first encounter up till the last encounter (on t.v) with janeway in end game. she smiled the whole time waited for me to be done and told me she was sorry she asked then changed the subject completely lol.

How can you put Sisco at the bottom? He decked Q! That's gotta be worth something!

Tough to choose a "best", really. Even if all 4 shows were uneven for supporting cast (some great, some all right, and some ARRrrrrrgghful), they all had damned compelling captains. The lot of em were great!

...I'm right glad that the last and shittiest show of the franchise doesn't even get a mention. (even if I kinda did like Captain Quantum Leap)

fuck enterprise. it doesn't even count lol. i just downloaded all of them and they are all 7 seasons except TOS. i thought DS9 was only like 4 seasons. i watched the start of DS9 and i found the cast to be annoying other than sisco.

Simon, I may disagree with you about what, if anything, on efukt is funny. But damned if you ain't bang on about Enterprise.

You may want to tough it out and watch all of DS9. They do some pretty good space opera type story arcs in later seasons. Still some hit and miss episodes, but worth watching.

i found torrents for all of them. i just finished downloading voyager and TNG and season 1 of DS9 is on it's way and i will be bringing them in 2 at a time till i got them all. i will give it a shot and watch it start to finish. i don't think janeway gets her due as a captain. she dealt with way more and had to scavenge her way home. picard is still the best though.

there is some funny shit on efukt. watch the "i hate cum" videos. that is some classic shit.

Sisko, hands down.
Case in point: Season 6 episode 19, In the pale moonlight.

Jean Luc close second, Kirk, Quantum Leap and last is Janeway.
Janeway is last because any of the other captains would have used the array to go home and would have blown it up with a timed photon.
