Which was handled in your previous tome. Then there is that long held point that the absence of proof doesn't mean ....... you know.
The only problem is that I've known a Noble Laureate as well as another Scientist who was nominated several times and whom everyone in her part of the scientific community thought should have been awarded the prize. Both were quite active Christians in mainstream denominations.

I'm sure we can find something which defies logical explanation that you believe in.
Sometimes it comes down to family traditions, (being married in an R.C. church, kids getting baptized) and not so much on the spiritual side of religion. People are always looking for ways to interact socially with each other and religion provides that feeling of belonging.
This lie has been posted before and it was explained before, but most of us understand you do have a retention problem.
People with a little knowledge think that 2 + 2 always equal 4
But it is only true because they are ignorant of greater truths.
2 + 2 = 10, or 2 + 2 = 11, or 2 + 2 = 100 if your math is not trapped in the most ignorant level of understanding.
Truth is not cast in stone and changes and evolves.
Atheists claim there is no God or even god. That belief is based on blind faith based on ever changing sand.
A true scientist can say "I see no proof that god exists" and become an agnostic.

atheists say there is no god because there is no evidence for one. faith is believing without evidence. belief in god is faith. get a dictonary. not believing in god is NOT faith. this is like saying not collecting stamps is a hobby
gnostic comes from the greek gnosis which means knowledge. a is the prefix which means without agnostic means without knowledge
agnostics don't know if a god exists
again faith is believing without evidence. you can't have faith if you don't believe in a god or gods
