I usually like your posts, but I have to comment on this:
I find both ends of the spectrum are based to much on blind faith to make me feel comfortable.
I have no qualms with people who believe, but sorry, to call atheism "blind faith" is a misunderstanding.
To quote Bill Mayer, "Atheism is a religion, like abstinence is a sex position!"
I personally went from the one end of the spectrum (Fundamental Organized Religion) to the other (Atheism).
The former was indeed blind faith, the latter is based on empirical freethinking.
The empirical data (cosmology, problem of evil, natural disasters, stochastic events, etc) are explained far more easily by "no god" than "a god".
