just watched yet another bluejay loss to Texas in 13. They had the game in hand. This game just killed the season for them, get ready for your 5th place Bluejays. They dont have the killer put away instinct. Anthoupolous has no balls to pull off a big trade ala Pat Gillick. Its really a shame after a spring training with so much promise. Baltimore will not fold, the Yankees are the Yankees, the rays will probably win the division and the redsox usually get hot in summer, so get ready to join the royals and twins at the bottom Jays,.,.

The bullpen did very well for most of the time. They were just let down by one reliever, Jason Frasor, who with a 5.0 era is having a pretty poor season. He gave up 3 runs to turn a probable win into another sickening loss.

I thought the Japanese pitcher was a disaster and put us in the hole. Up by two, he walks the leadoff man and then gives up a double. Frasor comes on in a tough spot, tying run on second and only Josh Hamilton at the dish.

What trade exactly would make this team so much better they'd be a shoe in for the post season.

Forget AA needing cash to do the deal. Do you really think Texas would give up two elite players (even if one of then is a free agent to be) for two players not good enough to make the jays this year but just good enough to pay millions to play in AAA ball. You wouldn't even get one of them.

You asked a question and I answered it.

another jay blowup today to the rangers. no chance of beating Darvish but at least they kept Texas under 2 touchdowns lol. This year will be a year of learning, no chance for postseason and th,yll be lucky to finish ahead of the bosox for the basement,,,

I look at this team and see 3 big holes. Fixing those holes are the same problem that 2/3rds of the league has. They need a closer unless Santos becomes what they thought they were getting. They need one more big bat in the line up. (a lefty would be nice) A number 1 lights out Ace starter. I like Romero and Morrow, and think they both make great #2 guys, but we need a real 20 game under 3 era Ace.

Too bad Snider or someone couldn't come up with the break through year and Santos worked out. Then they probably could have gotten a ren-a-player for the back half of the season.

The more I watch them the more I am sure they are a .500 team, just as they have been the past couple of years. They haven't been able to beat the better teams. They have to start winning against teams in the East.
This series against Baltimore is must win, need to sweep, or at the very least a series win.

Janssen might be the closer they were after all along. I would ride him even after Santos comes back just to see if he can handle the job long term.

Casey always around the plate and doesn't shoot himself in the foot out there. I thing his body of work suggests that he at least deserves a try.

Blue Jay fans have to realize that AA is going to develop from within first. So them bringing a number one stud starter is most likely out of the question at present.

They simply are not going to increase their payroll significantly. And why would they when you think of it. They simply do not get the fan support they need to carry a big payroll in the toughest division in baseball.
