BTW: I turn to Rogers channel 30 to watch the Canada juniors play the Russians thinking it would automatically "call forward" my TV to the HD channel but it it did not. I had to actually punch in 506 on my remote. Is that because Rogers charges extra for TSN high definition?

Watching HNIC last night and heard on the Hot Stove Lounge in the 2nd intermission that the Leafs have a very hard offer on Versteeg. With that, Burke has then sent out feelers to other teams shopping him for an even better offer. Don't know what was offered but I would have to think hard about trading Versteeg. I mean, unless you're going to get a first line sniper or a playmaker or a first rounder in 2011, what would be the point in moving him? A couple of 3rd or 4th liners isn't what this team needs. Trading him for another 2nd line player is moving sideways. Now, if it were Beauchemin or Komiserek I would say lets make a deal.
Granted he made a bad giveaway that cost a goal a couple of games ago, but I think Beauchemin has been pretty solid. He's the type of guy you don't usually notice because he doesn't make a lot of spectacular plays but he also makes very few mistakes. He's just a steady presence on the blueline. Sort of like Allan Stanley used to be. Every team needs steady defencemen like him.

As a discussion on an escort review board I would have to say that this was a gigantic B&S and should have been avoided at all costs. Burke should come on here to see the reviews and therefore see who he should and should not book an appointment with.
I think you can get a middling/late 1st Round Pick for Versteeg fairly easily. Beauchemin or McArthur will probably bring you a 2nd Rounder. However, Burke is not keen on trading strictly for draft picks. Komiserek is impossible to trade.
