Pappy, what the hell are you talking about? How did my family suddenly enter the picture? A bit early in the day for you to be speaking gibberish, isn't it?
Let off, you are just multiplying(*) the poor man's anguish over life.

You're probably right, but he more than spreads it around. He's starting to walk that line again.

Fine. When you went to the hospital recently are you sure the only thing they removed was your appendix?

yea

my moral compass is still intact.

Looks like we all agree that we would be in a far better place if we followed the Constitution.
Not really!
Don't forget Dubya and his ilk opine the US Constitution is just a god-damned piece of paper!....

Maybe you can explain to me how my views have changed dramatically over the last few years. They haven't. You on the other seem to be growing increasingly bitter, why, I don't know.

More likely they tampered with his prefrontal lobe, or what's left of it.

I guess I am getting old.

You seem to be a tad more liberal with each passing year.

Not that being liberal is a bad thing until you become so blinded by it that you see no other opinion.

I like you better when you just agreed to disagree.

It's called perception. Point out anything I said when I joined this board that is inconsistant with what I say now. It's your perception that has changed pappy. Who do you want to compare me with? Woody? Oldjones? If I say something that is off base, anyone here can correct me and should. But to suggest my opinion is a danger to society, or that my mind is infected, or bringing my family into the discussion for God knows what reason, crosses the line. You're already skating on thin ice boyo, don't make it any thinner.

However, I still would choose .45 ACP over .9mm any day of the week.
Really? Why? I've fired both and much prefer the .45. Feels better in my hand, more balanced.

Protection from what? When you answer that question honestly the absurdity of your position will be apparent.
When I serviced banking ATM's and had 24/7 access to about 250 of them in bioth banks and stand alone units, a pistol would have been considered for self defense.

I don't have a problem with licensing security personnel to carry weapons while working in uniform. We allow that in Canada too despite pistols being restricted weapons.

But we check them for mental stability first.
