CHCH also weakened their signal so they are gone to me now. My HD antenna in Toronto can't pick them up any more. Now I'm just left with my memories of Norm Marshall, Sandy Hoyt and of course, Tiny Talent Time.
Don't forget Party Game.

CHCH recently relocated their transmitter to a new site, so you might have to re-aim your antenna slightly to pick up their signal.

Cabbagetown
and Hogan's Heros and Three's Company
Hogan's Heroes episodes were slightly less than 25.5 minutes long, when they originally aired. That means a lot of cuts, and the first things to go will be the parts 'which aren't funny anymore', ie: anything which might offend the people who are offended by everything.

When TBS used to air the Sean Connery James Bond movies multiple times every month, they were 'time compressed', meaning that if the original video was supposed to be 24 frames per second, they would play them at 26 fps, so an hour of screen time would be 55 minutes on TV.

I'm not sure what CHCH does, because if I want to watch those shows, I usually already have DVD or BluRay rips on one of my external drives.

The Danny Thomas Show now at 2pm and The Andy Griffith Show on at 3pm.

I vaguely remember the DTS, looking forward to see it again and who doesn't like Andy Griffith?
Andy Griffith will be fun to watch...The Danny Thomas Show is old and dated...

The Danny Thomas Show-to think this was a sitcom in the 50s, it's not that funny 60/70 years later.
Make Room For Daddy/The Danny Thomas Show was produced and ran for 11 seasons, from 1953 - 1964!

Not many sit-coms can lay claim to that type of success.

I was too young to appreciate the limited re-runs of this show in the '60s, but now having seen most of the DTS 1957 - 1964 episodes, but not the MRFD '53 - '57 episodes, twice on CHCH-TV they have become my favorite and go-to '50s - 60's sit-com show.

Made at Desilu Studios, produced by Sheldon Leonard and the minds that created the Dick Van Dyke Show, the Andy Griffiths Show and one or two other popular '60s sitcoms.

The talented cast, recurring regulars and the sheer scope and talent of the guest stars were a testament to the show's success and a defining statement to a time and place that yes, once existed in the American Dream of society.

A time gone, and maybe lost forever for a wondrous child growing up in the magical '60s and now a nostalgic old man.

I was a bit too young to appreciate and thus watch, except for a snippet here and there, The Avengers 1965 - 1968.

But not now:

A smart, witty, very well written and acted, fashionable and stylish tongue-in-cheek teleplay currently at February '66 episodes.

Really, really like it.

But mostly love Emma Peel!

They removed Dick Van Dyke from the line up.
The show was wildly popular and acclaimed.

The only problem was that it had a short run. Dick was very successful in family type films in the 60's.

Thus, last episode shown by CHCH this week was the last episode of the series.

One of the funniest sitcoms ever, the cast chemistry was amazing.
