It was not his 5th goal it was 1 goal in 5 different world cup. Quite a feat in itself!

I don't really see why this matters. The referee did a good job on the Canada game.

On CBC a Canadian FIFA referee reviewed the claim of penalty and came to the conclusion, that there were no penalty, because a Canadian player had committed a foul just before.

Penalty was a fake but Ronaldo demonstrated how to take it - high and moving away from keeper making it unstoppable. In comparison, penalty by Davies was low and towards keeper making it easier to stop. Doesnt look like he had much practice how to take it.
