I've always preferred doing a clean fresh install of any OS both windows and Linux. Doing an upgrade from W10 to W11 you run the chance of bringing corrupt files etc., from W10 into your newly upgraded W11 OS messing it up and causing problems.
My friend did a fresh install of W10 so it should be pristine.
The question now is how do we upgrade to W11?
With W7 you were able download W10 for free by putting a W10 ISO on a flashdrive for W10, then doing a clean install of W10 on whatever drive you desired. This also allowed to keep your old W7 OS as it was. Wish M$ still allowed that to be done with W11.
Does this mean itis possible to have both W7 and W10 on the same computer at the same time? If yes, I assume we have to partition the drive.
