On the Men's side, I'd be surprised if anyone beats the Joker.

Women's side, I pick G. Muguruza over Serena. Serena beats herself too much now.
 
The Americans (specifically ESPN) are at it again. The promo for Genie's match was sexy as hell. Black and white, she walks in. As Eric Idle would say, In a tiny cocktail frock, sits down, crosses her legs and flashes her high wattage smile.

Her twin sister was sitting behind The Calabrese (Coach Saviano), she is stunning.

Logically Djoker is the overwhelming favorite for every Slam, but history says he won't win them all in succession. There's a reason it hasn't been done over 50 years.

Novak is also about to reach an age where majors suddenly become few and far between even for all-time greats. He will almost surely win at least a couple more, maybe a few, but the tennis world should start preparing fo rincreasing frequency of new champions at Slams even if Djokovic continues to mostly play great & hold #1 for another year or two.

I got Murray & Madison Keys. Murray can hit through Novak's defenses on grass better than on other surfaces. I would like to see Murray come into net more though. Keys hits as big a ball as anybody on the tour and finally seems to be improving her shot-selection and playing with more margin.

Keys has the power, but doesn't move well enough to beat the top players. Since Muguruza got upset by a unranked, I like Kvitova or maybe Kerber.

Bouchard looks good, she's moving well and hitting it with good pace, she could make a long run.
 
On the women's I'll take Serena, go with her on the men's too.

There doesn't appear to be anyone close to replacing him and he is as good as he's ever been although Nadal and Federer have fallen off, can't see the decline that sudden.

Keys has beaten Kvitova before. She OUTHIT Kvitova at the AO in 2015. So she has shown she can beat a top player. The very SAME Kvitova that made Genie look like a little girl in the Wimby final couple years back. And I would argue that signature win is better than any win Genie has ever had. To be quite honest I even struggle to think of a signature win Genie has had on a big stage. Lot of her 2014 was based on soft draws at majors.

Also, if you saw the Keys/Serena AO SF from 2015 Keys gave Serena a good fight. In fact she had Serena on the defense and on her heels a LOT in that match.

I do agree with you though that Keys isn't an elite mover. But her movement is good enough in my opinion to win on a surface like grass. Though there is still room for improvement in that department. It is improving because I recall in 2015 she was getting to balls that she wasn't getting to in 2014. But remember Bartoli won Wimbledon and she wasn't exactly a great mover.

Also, on grass movement isn't nearly as important as it is say on clay. I just think the surface really accentuates her strengths. If she can just think more and be smart with her shot-selection she can do a lot of damage. She sometimes seems to be in a rush to win. No need for her to always try to pull the trigger so early in rallies or flirt with the lines as much as she does. It is okay to win a point with a combination of shots or a forced error rather than a winner early in the rally all the time.

Also, Keys isn't anywhere near a finished product. So she is can still get MUCH better. And she is already top 10.

BG said last year that Keys would be World No. 1 within a couple years.

Not talking about "replacing" any time soon, just wouldn;t be surprised to see him suddenly winning fewer Slams & 5000's . Happens very often at 30 on the men's side.

I don't see him losing the No.1 spot before mid 2018 at the earliest - he might have a rut & injury spell that enables Murray to have a brief moment at No.1 at some point but that won't be "the change' . That should come later and it will be someone from the age group of Zverev, Thiem, Coric or Kyrgios. NOT the older guys who are Raonic or Nishikori's age - they're not good enough - they're not even close to putting Federer in their rear-view mirror yet, let alone Djokovic.

But for the present time, we're only lookig at 2016 Wimbledon & the US Open, and the grand Slam is notoriously difficult to win. So it is a near certainty that Djokovic will fail to win at least one of those two, even though he's the heavy favorite for both tournaments individually.

Yeah, I got it all wrong. Neither one even got close the finals, Djokovic losing so early is just plain shocking!

Now Murray is the favorite, but this could be a year when someone really unexpected wins it. I still like Kerber or maybe Halep now. I think Serena is the next big name to fall.

Murray has a tricky draw coming up tomorrow with Kyrgios. Federer looks like having a much easier draw with Johnson (US).

This is probably Milos' best chance ever for a Wimbledon title. Ideally it would have come with a few more months under McEnroe's influence, indeed he may be a better player by next year's Wimbledon but not by so much that it would equal the bug break of Djokovic being out of his path and no guarantee of being healthy so now is really the big break.

By this time 2018, he will porbably be overtaken for good by Kyrgios, Vverev & Thiem so if he hasn't won a major by then he will finish as the successor to Berdych.

I'm going the winner of Murray-Kyrgios to go all the way. However if Kyrgios gets Murray out of the way its 50:50 between him & Raonic because Molos is still farther ahed in terms of experience & consistency (but Kyrgios matches up better against Murray athletically...)
