Drama queen?? Not everyone can afford a $5K fine.

Especially restaurant owners after they've been more or less locked down for the last 18 months
Get a free safe vaccine vs pay $5k. I don't know about you but I believe the choice is simple.

Forced to make a choice. But it has always been the choice of the individual
Did you not earlier use the word "coercion"??
According to Oxford dictionary forced and coercion are the same thing

Forced to make a choice of getting the vaccine or not. People don't have to get the vaccine if they choose not to.

Seriously - you are a very disturbed and delusional individual who is extremely gullible and obviously not capable of sustained rational and intelligent thought.
How do you function in society other than by lurking at the fringes and in the shadows with other conspiracy addled nut cases?
Before you chastise him, keep in mind vaccine passports where once thought to be the product of conspiracy theorists. Look where we are now

Sad fact: Covid doesn't care about your rights! Not even a little. Care enough to help protect those around you, even if you don't care about yourself...

No, they were not! It was obvious they would become implemented to ensure most comply. Get your jab or stay at home, lose your job and be landlocked.

Relax, and take a deep breath. No, it was not obvious that vaccine passports would become the norm
Joe Biden said in April COVID passports would not be required.

Even Doug Ford originally ruled out vaccine passports back in July

Yes, there were a couple of people in this forum who laughed and guffawed at the people who suggested that boosters and vaccine passports would become the norm. They used the terms conspiracies and conspiracy theorists. Funny how when it came to be true, they were quiet as mouses. Not a squeak.

For the record, I have no problem with boosters or passports.

Jesus has not led me to take the vaccine and I have not got that peace of mind and heart towards taking the shot, that it's the right thing to do with me. However, I'm still praying about it and hope that I will eventually come to a resolution of this matter one way or the other. That being said, I really don't see a reason to get vaccinated since I don't intend to travel, work at a place that is mandating vaccination and while my gym might not allow me to work-out because I'm unvaccinated....eventually they will make it voluntary with the mandates probably faster than the 60 days it would take for me to get both shots and risk potential nasty side-effects.
It's better for me to wait and see what the premier plans to do in terms of relaxing these mandates.

I'm not or was excited so no need to ....relax.... I am just stating the facts. It is obvious to most Doug has been against mandates from day 1 and still is to this day. He is becoming wishy washy because he fears his base with the upcoming election. Biden knows the backlash mandates create in the bad ole USA but he knows it needs to be done because their vaccine rate is atrocious. It really is common sense to most who can look at the situation through a common-sense lens.

I'd like to see the military step in, go house by house and inject the unwashed but that's my opinion and once I win the leadership off of Justin, I'll attempt to make the Amigo\s life miserable. ;)

The objection/argument is that people are being forced to take the vaccine. They are being forced to put something in their body. That is clearly and undeniably not the case. People can choose to not take the vaccine. Those 1,400 healthcare workers did not take the vaccine. They were not forced to put something in their body.

End of your fallacious argument.

I know what the words mean. You had to look them up. But you are applying the words to the wrong action.

Forced to make a decision IS NOT forced to take the vaccine.

We are forced to make decisions hundreds of times a day. Like each day you, as an example have to make a choice as to whether you should get drunk again like the day before, or not. Should I lie or not. But in the end, you can do either. Same with the vaccine, the individual is the one that made that choice. The can, of their own volition, decide to take it or not take it.

Maybe you've heard of the quaint old saying, "Shit or get off the pot." It means make up your mind and make a choice.

The 1,400 healthcare workers that quit PROVED that they were not forced to take the vaccine. They didn't take it. That right there defeats the argument that people are forced to take the vaccine.

When you're threatened with losing your job, possibly not being able to make your next month's rent or mortgage payment, possibly becoming homeless and/or bankrupt, that is being FORCED to take the vaccine.

I'm assuming the people who didnt take the jab perhaps had other work lined up. But the people who didnt, and had no choice BUT to take the vaccine or risk losing everything, they WERE being forced. End of story!

Also, when you bring up alcohol, I know you THINK you're hurting me, but really you're not because I can afford to do nothing all day, booze all I want, and slam as many SP's as I like. I call that a good life (y)

Cheers!
