Which does not change that at any given point, higher number of cases means a higher number of deaths.
Knowing what we know about treatment now may mean fewer people will die than last year for the same number of cases but it isn't last year, it is now.
More cases now means more deaths than fewer cases now.

You didnt answer how many police officers were killed during BLM RIOTS. Why not? Why didnt that bother you enough to start a thread or post?
Officers were beaten and while Sicknick's death can't be proven to be as a result of the attack on him (including being bear sprayed), there is every possibility to suggest he would be alive today if he had not been attacked.
Police being killed or assaulted in any setting is disgraceful but to keep score against other such incidents of assault on police is an odd response, be it BLM protests or a Santa Claus parade. Anyone who assaults a cop (or anyone else for that matter) should face the full consequences of the law regardless of why they may have been in that situation.
