When sex with the SO became a once a year thing, I tried hard to fix it but "wandered" elsewhere for intimacy. Although she has been trying to get more into sex lately, I can't imagine a time when she will be as into it as I am. It's too bad, because she is a great life partner otherwise.massman said:

For me it is more than just the lack of frequency. The lack of frequency however leads to her gettign pissed off if i am turned on and she isnt - which leads me to belive that my feelings in this area dont mean shit. Which makes me feel like shit. More than I already did, (since as a reasonably good looking guy, who is noce, considerate, and despite being within a hair of 40, is in as good shape as i was in my late 20s) I cant seem to get my wife turned on enough to want to be at all physically intimate with me - and that message over and over again, starts to make you feel like garbage.
