Hi everybody, just getting my feet wet on this board so I hope this is okay for my first post here (gulp) ...

There are probably as many different reasons as there are individuals as to why men hobby. I wonder if any of the gentlemen would be interested in sharing, honestly, why you do it? What made you decide to try it that very first time? What was your first experience like and, for the veterans, has that changed over time?

Ladies, you may also participate if you wish and perhaps talk about what made you decide to a) get into the profession, and b) stay in it.

I think this could turn out to be a very interesting and informative discussion. What do you think?

I hobby because I like different stank on my hang low.

I didn't mean to annoy anyone and I do apologize; I wasn't aware that this topic has a tendency to repeat on you like fried green peppers lol.

In future I will make sure to make "search" my friend. :D

Unlike my co-horts up there (yes it has been done before) I'll answer your question:

I have neither the time nor the inclination to bother with "the game" of chasing after women any longer. I don't even want to think about all the hours, days, months I spent trying to find a partner only to be met with disappointment at almost every turn.

Now? Whenever I feel the need for female companionship I just call up a beautiful woman, have some fun, and enjoy my life.

i'm very different... i still enjoy the "game"... i like going out, giving a lady a smile, start chatting her up... sometimes something comes out of it sometimes not... i like seeing a hot babe on the street and being bold and start making small talk... all casual like... sometimes they tell me to get lost but more often then not they are totally cool...

So why do I hobby? simple, i'm a whore... I loooooove sex and with many women as possible... i'm not too good with the relationship thing... tried and failed too many times....

I would also add that since I've been doing this, I'm better at hooking up with ladies outside of this hobby... why? because I'm not trying to get into their pants... I can call up any hot SP at anytime if I want to fuck... instead, i'm totally natural, confident, and relaxed... if you have a sense of humour, knack for conversation, and have some fucking fashion sense, I guarantee you will hook up with a hot babe in this city... and there are many, many hot babes in this city...

Welcome to TERB . No need to apologize to the members with the negative attitudes wanting to kill discussions before they even begin . If you were looking to do research I'm sure you know how to do it . Its obvious you were looking to engage in an exchange of experiences and there is no need to apologize for that . You will learn that there are people with interesting view points as well as windbags ( here's their first opening to attack LOL) who scan threads looking to shit disturb . Enjoy the post of the good ones and learn to ignore the assholes .

In answer to your question . I hobby because of the wonderful variety available at a reasonable ( with proper research) cost . NSA sex with young attractive women who 9 times out of 10 provide me with an exciting erotic satisfying adventure . The ease of getting with a nice SP has made it impossible for me to get interested in any ongoing attachment with a SO . I like the 30 minute hot and heavy session that costs the same or less than an evening of drinks and dinner without the 5 hours of getting to know you chitchat. I have female friends , that I don't sleep with , that satisfy my need for female company outside of sex .

I hobby while I am between relationships. Usually because it is easier to meet an SP than trying my luck at bars and putting work into something that I know I do not want any commitment out of. That being said, if I am at a bar, I usually will try for a one night stand, but I don't frequent them usually. For me it is a matter of convenience when I'm single and do not feel like being in a relationship.

Dating can be very time -consuming and frustrating, so while I have
dated some very sweet, intelligent and beautiful
women in my life, in bed almost none of these women could match
the perfomance of some of the women in the business.
Unfortunately, many "regular" girls seem to be under the mistaken
assumption that being attractive is enough to keep a man interested in them.
That may be true at the beginning of the relationship but

You're right fred, it is a rare woman indeed who says "I'm going to shag you rotten" and is actually able to do it. FOr most civvies "shagging you rotten" means they move their hips a little more than usual while laying back and letting you do all the work lol

I agree with most of the reasons given in this thread ... but the biggest concern I've always had are the STD's that ... at least ... imho, someone in this high risk profession exposes themselves to.
