I was chatting with a SB the other day between rounds and sharing our experiences in the sugar world. She told me several guys just wanted a platonic date, dinner or drinks. In her experience they were simply lonely and wanted an intelligent conversation with a younger woman. Some clearly wanted to show her off and make it known to the world that they could pull this kind of girl if they wanted to. I was surprised that it wasn’t always about the sex, and she assured me that wasn’t the case.

If all you want is to get laid, then going on a date isn't the best way to do it. It's also not the cheapest way to get laid (short-term anyway).

Go on a date if with a woman if you see yourself being happy in a romantic relationship with that woman.

Coffee for a first date is the way to go. Cheap and if it's not clicking for either person it's short and quick. You can decide later if a dinner date is in the cards. Why spend a few hrs with someone that you don't want too.
