Why do guys who hate what half of the Sps post on twitter come here to complain instead of just unfollowing? Usually I put my phone on silent, but there's been a few times over the years I've forgotten and been woken up by someone repeatedly calling in the middle of the night trying to wake me up. My ads specifically say no calls and I post my hours, and only occaisionally post my phone number but it has happened and I'm sure it's happened occaisionally to many SPs. I doubt anyone would like to be woken up in the middle of the night when they want to sleep to be ready for the next day. Maybe a few SPs have posted on twitter about the middle of the night texts/calls. I follow a ton of SPs around the world and don't see this as an epidemic, it's been a handful over the entire time I've been on twitter...
What I've noticed is that only posting pictures and schedules gets very low interaction compared to discussion posts on twitter or sharing something different. Some of us want only interested followers and not for the entire public to see our photos, our location, schedules, etc, so angry dudes choosing to follow people that they're not interested in seems to make little sense. It's no different than here, put someone on ignore or don't reply to their threads if you personally find someone annoying. But the board culture around here seems to cultivate guys whining and bitching about almost everything regardless of topic. SPs ocaisionally complaining about something bad happening to them at their job is kind of relevent, that is their job and many twitter followers are newbies and have no idea how to contact an SP or why someone may not respond to a graphic/vague/anonymous message. Plug into what you want, ignore what you don't want. No one is entitled to tell others how to do their job or how to feel about it. Just because someone is an SP doesn't mean they are accountable to the anonymous board whiner they've never met who never wants to book them. Anyway seems pretty clear this thread is just to make the OP feel better about being a crybaby
This thread isn't going to change anything so it's rather pointless. If you ONLY want to see schedules and ads look at the frickin AD section on here or backpage man.... if you want to engage with an SP for free on here or on twitter you're going see the whole gamut of discussions including good and bad things that happen. It's rather useless to invest time on twitter to only post the same pics and ad schedule when most followers are not from the city we are working from. It's useful to get to know potential clients from all across the country who don't see our ads and want us to visit a new city for a booking. Twitter exists for most of the world and not just the GTA and what OP wants to see lol
