The Leafs are now getting secondary scoring and that is really helping them win the one goal games, especially when the "Big 4" is kept off the scoresheet.

At the quarter mark it looks like it'll be 4 teams Jets, Montreal, Oilers, Flames battling to see which 1 of those teams will not make the playoffs. Unlikely for Leafs to be passed by all 4 teams. Vancouver has a better shot at passing 2 of the 4 teams but they've lost their last 6 and is not trending in the right direction.

Looking more like 3 sure teams to make the playoffs. Montreal or Ottawa for final spot and Vancover Ottawa no shot.

It was nice of Toronto to give Calgary a loser point to keep them in the running for 4th place.

1. Toronto
2. Winnipeg
3. Edmonton
4. Calgary
5. Montreal
6. Vancouver
7. Ottawa
