Also watched Barbarians season 2 recently on Netflix. Germany coming out with some quality shows lately between Dark, Babylon Berlin, and Barbarians.
German Director Maria Schrader crosses uneasy divides. She was part of the creative team that made Unorthodox, the story of a Hasidic young girl escaping from an arranged marriage to start a new life.

Now she's doing it again in her first English project film, She Said is a film about the #MeToo movement. On paper it should be a welcome film on a sensitive subject. Unfortunately the movement has been tarnished by sociopaths who used it to their own ends. It came out for this weekend I don't expect it to set the box-office on fire.

1899 is new one also one I have to add to my list. From the German creators of Dark, a multilingual mind bending mystery. Andreas Pietschmann stars in both. I’m hearing good things about it so far but it will be a tough task to outdo Dark.

The Walking Dead - finally the series is coming to an end and during the Christmas Holidays I will binge watch it.

So finished 2 more.

Handmaid's Tale season five which was outstanding. Great writing and fsntastic nuanced oerfirmsnces with some nice twists. Highly recommend.

Also season one of Interview with a Vampire. First two episodes were a bit cluncky but it really hits its stride in the script and performance in episode three. Lestat is really good and the girl playing Claudia is fantastic. Its an updated version with Eric Bagosian playing an aged reporter revisting Louis. Also at 7 episodes not a big commitment. Highly recommend again.

Next up is Sandman.

I couldn’t get into Handmaid’s Tale. As for interview with a vampire after watching 5 minutes was seriously considering my life choices. But might give it another go.

Just my opinion but I was very disappointed with AMC's Interview with the Vampire and HBO's Let the Right One in. I had high expectations for both. I should note I didn't go past episode 2 in either series. I am watching HBO's City on a Hill with Kevin Bacon. It's pretty good quality. Looking forward to Last of Us in January. HOuse of Dragon was great and Rings of Power was insulting.

You know there are series that you wish wouldn't end and then there's The Walking Dead.

I've seen every episode so I'm a going to finish it off but it's getting arduous to say the least.

City on a Hill is a very under-rated show, it's going to get a boost with both Aldis Hodge (DeCourcy) and Sarah Shahi (Rachel Benham) being in Black Adam. The former Dallas Cowgirl is truly impressive, she nailed the Boston accent. I found House of the Dragon tedious, couldn't get through the first episode.

White Lotus season 1 was enjoyable. I haven;t started season 2 yet but looking forward to it. HOuse of Dragon gets much much better as it goes along. Episode 6-10 are fantastic. I recommend sticking with it.

The first Wonder Woman film was ok, the second was a joyless brown log.

They still can't match the delicious schlock of the 70's show. Talk about a John Sebastian Syndrome, if you could only have one, how do you chose between Lynda Carter and Gretchen Corbett?

Am I going to get ripped off by Disney? Having spent my earliest working years in kitchens, I want to see The Bear. Will Disney make me pay more for their FX catalogue?

Joel McHale wanted to put Jeff Winger (Community) behind him.

Just watched the 2 seasons of "Tehran", an Israeli Mossad vs. Iranian National Guard series. Great acting, lots of action and tension. Recommended...

Was unimpressed with 1899.

After season 2 of Handmaid's tale there just wasn't any point for me.
Just too repetitive and lacking any real point.

Have heard good things about Interview with the Vampire and intend to check it out as a binge.

Sandman is not as terrible as its first episode implies, but overall makes some really poor choices. It's... fine... and the bonus episodes imply it may have an idea what to do going forward to be stronger, but it's nothing worth going out of your way for.

Transplant is pretty good. I believe it's a Canadian production, too, with Canadian actors.
