What the hell are the Raptors doing?

Villanueva's always had talent but seems to not put everything together ... I wouldn't consider him to be an answer to any rebounding woes that the RAPs have. Neither will Graham.

Villanueva can put the ball on the floor against the big guys but it would appear that he doesn't have the size to battle anyone of decent size in the paint. Then again, Toronto is in the East

Given that I think I still would rather have Villanueva instead of Channing Frye ... just on the perceived upside.

Toronto can still do a sign-&-trade with Marshall. Maybe package him with Murray or Eric Williams.

Channing Frye would have been a problem since he refused to even workout with the Raps before the draft. Don't want someone who doesn't want to be here.

I heard clips of Frye on the Chuck swirsky show on the day of the draft and he said Toronto is a great city with great fans all that and that he would welcome being drafted by the Raptors.
I didn't catch the entire show, so I'm not sure of his reasoning for not working out for the Raps.

I'm sure Frye was just being PC. Why wouldn't the Raps work out Frye, if not just for the possibility of a swap of picks with NY and make a bit of cash (like the VC-Jamison swap).

I think the knock on Charlie was the work ethic. Maybe he didn't show it at times and the rep stuck with him a bit. Mitchell just can't be soft on these guys and really needs to show them how to be a professional like Oakley did.
