Molly I'm really sorry to hear what happened to you. Regardless of the circumstances, you didn't deserve to be treated like that.
It's really appalling by the fact that none would intervene or say anything. And it just frightens me that this is what we are becoming as a society.
I have had the opportunity to live and work in many different countries and I can tell you that I've seen incidents like this to be the beginning of a social decomposition that I would hate seeing Canada going into.
I'm not going to mention the specific country because this is not an issue of race, it's an issue about society.
The social breakdown in this country has reached such extreme that reality is more bizarre than fantasy. In broad daylight, in the middle of a busy intersection at a major city, a person could be robbed of her car, raped and shot dead in the head and no one, absolutely no one, would do or say anything.
Every country deserves their society and I would hate to see beautiful Canada become a heartless society.
I don't care if the guy was a knife-packing, 6ft 300lbs behemoth out of his Prozac. We all have an obligation to fight for the society we want to live in.
I certainly would've said or do something about his behavior towards you.
I refuse to let stupid people like this idiot trash our beautiful society we live in and the beautiful country we call home.
