My best friend of 20 years…..we’ve literally NEVER discussed our sex lives (or anyone else’s).

No, that is not accurate unless you assert that this kind of selfish behaviour is common to all women. It isn't and I never said it was. Would you share the same sympathy towards older women who get bilked out of their life savings by a younger man ? Was she asking for it ? Her life might be fucked up but hey - she should have known better ? That is his defense and if you were the judge you would accept it ?

He is not being conned. You admit it is his MO. That his “love” strategy is to do favours for women in hopes of getting them into bed. Even if he knows that they have a boyfriend. He is making that choice fully knowledgeable of the situation.
I’m not saying that anyone should take advantage of anyone else but this is his game that he is choosing to play. Some guys play the bad boy and some guys play the good guy.

Any activity whether singing, playing games or other endeavor that passes the time could be construed as a hobby. From my perspective for some women it is a 'hobby' so I explained why I find such activity is unattractive / repulsive to me.

The hobby of getting body ink. I don't mind a few tasteful tattoos but arm sleeves and big ones on the breasts, thighs and buttocks are such a turn off for me.
