I will always look at survival/hospital numbers first because that's the easiest science we can do. I find it pretty sad that CTV would put out a propaganda piece like this. This isn't journalism, its fear mongering. The vast majority of healthy 30 and 40 year olds will not end up in the ICU because of this virus.
The doctor in the video also mentioned that many people suffer renal failure. One of the main reasons for that is the Remdesevir treatment. The US and Canada use that drug more than other countries to treat moderate to severely ill patients, despite the WHO discouraging its use.

All it takes is a simple vaccine to prevent this. Talk to any of the patients or their family and friends, and see how much they regret not getting the vaccine.

As of Sept 17,2021 The ICU admissions in Canada for covid were 1,630 for 40-49 and 80 and up were 1,582, this margin is widening every day.

It has been documented that remdesevir causes renal failure in about 30% of patients. Not misinformation at all.

And remdesivir is not that widely used in Canada anyways, it simply doesn't work for most patients with Covid.
